Sort of. But there's more prestige to owning a planet and a base. Plus I get to stand there all day and wait for people to bring me stuff.
Engineer Tyres O'Flaherty...has a ring to it. I'd reside somewhere in IX ("many machines on IX, new machines - you are transparent; I see plans within plans") and call my base "Daisy Steiner".

EDIT Looks like a glitch as @Codger said. I jumped out of the system (Chac Cimil) and back and the thinh disappeared.

couldn't tell you what that is, looks like a force field. prehaps a new species of thargoid... :lol ..but i couldn't tell the difference if it was a asteroid or a meteor or star gazing naming isn't my thing.

i done that many times why i had to fly my own ship to the foot CZ, landed near and go out fighting , a few of the Enemy spawn on the edge of base with my lovely ship behind them, got shottie out and blast away, i can agree on the pretty lights of the ship shields
Oh good lord believe me plz, I had been resisting hard.... but I must confess I clicked the BUY button in the end. The best DBX paint job IMO. (so far)
Nice. Just found a G3 Artemis with improved jump assist and combat movement speed. Not sure why it has the latter given it's exobiology function but it was better than m y current one so I had to splash the cash.
Now, to apply some neat look to it...
EDIT I've been thinking, with my new rig coming soon ™ is it worth investing in a 4K monitor? There's loads out there and quite a few nice budget ones.

Yeah. I have a 32-inch Samsung now, curved screen, which I like very much. But it's only 1080p. Hmm...
The Samsung one I linked doesn't appear to have height adjustment on the stand which is a bit of a blow.

Instead of play with one large monitor, I prefer 2 smaller one, especially ED need lots to of external tools.

I have an Asus monitor at 2560x1440 and I'm very happy with it. I've also got an Acer at 1680x1050, which I use for my second screen.
The Samsung one looks nice and you could probably mount it on a bracket if the stand is a problem.
