Are you really receiving your interwebs with a coat hanger? o_O
Not really...my receiver is actually a second hand truck door mirror stuck on the old byre at the back of the farmhouse :D

You linked to a newer (radio/wireless) broadband service a few pages back, defo upgrade to that

Or if funds permit, have both; that way you have a fallback connection if the main one fails
I've already signed up for the Viking broadband given that it's almost quadruple the speed of our current service for exactly the same monthly cost. The main difference is that Norsenet gets it's signal from Norway rather than the UK...

My son decided he wants to take on the payments for the existing Cloudnet package to use on the Xbox for when he's over here...it'll save his ears burning when I'm shouting about him stealing my bandwidth with him playing BF4... so we're having both. Both services are TVWS from the same radio mast anyway, so if one fails, the other will be down too (barring faulty equipment)...I'll just have 2 receivers and 2 routers.

Nice one (y)

Yeah, but Hawkes has gone over to SC for the nonce at least, so for him its all new and shiny and he needs to make content, so low hanging fruit?

A lot of us have been complaining for an age about that particular exploit... which Ci¬G seems totally unwilling to put a stop to. Hopefully now they'll sort it, followed by a persistence db wipe to make all the exploiters and aUEC resellers cry a bit :)
