You must've been flying one to do all that. Welcome to Elite :)

PS Trespassing means you were either at the wrong place, or maybe over the wrong landing pad. Hard to tell from your description. Next time, don't do that :p

If the place was one of the space stations where you enter through a slot you need to Contact it and get permission to dock, once you have that you have 9 minutes to get through the slot and land on the pad with the number you have permission for.

Not having permission or getting too close to another pad will start a short timer to get clear with only a fine after which the traffic wardens will blow your ship to pieces.

Definitely need the audio masking on the exec. Else all the blue guys will come running. I will try and make a video with the domy suit to carry both modded execs.

edit look like this. The whole scene moves in and expands not just in the eyepiece view. So, a klutz method from fdev.?

And beware to watch ur speed and the surrounding. Flying too close to other ships at high speed in the station or near the mail slot (which I was boosting out of the mail slot and passing by a type 7 transport) will get you a fine like below....🤬

Fingers crossed I've sorted out the odd screen flickering. Looks like it was a either a dodgy DP port or cable - don't know how come seeing as it was fine on the precious rig. Anyway, I switched over to HDMI and it seems to be working - everything crossed.

Frame rates are not dropping below 60 so far although settlements do - but then only to about 55.

I've just stopped at a settlement for exploration purposes. Downloaded some data and decided to make a run for it as it was illegal.

Needless to say, when I reached my ship under constant fire, shields depleting fast, as my binds are not yet quite back to where they were, I messed up on the controls and couldn't board. Er, lol I think. I died.

Now my ship is being elusive to find again :D

Fun times!

Got the FAS operational! Well, it's not working like I expected. The under side hard points sucks for gimbal weapons... so PA time!

But then I really need to practice fast aiming with fixed weapons.... returning to station with 30% hull from CNB...out of that 70% damage inflicted.... mostly from colliding with target.... 🤬 🤦‍♀️

And the shield sucks too. Learning SCB as well.

The three smaller Federal ships are all hull tanks with relatively high armour/hull strength and low shields it is one of their design features.

Interesting mission. Should have been a simple personal doc retrieval except the locker I needed was the other side of a restricted area and I couldn't find a way in.

Found a tech and cloned him. Didn't realise guards didn't like that sort of thing so I got shot at.

I ran away but I wasn't chased so... found my way into another room with two techs who also opened fired. For the first time, I ended lives (on foot anyway). Love the shotgun.

Got out of the complex and was ambushed by another guard. Blammo! He went down too. Ran away, nearly ran out of suit power because my binds are still in a mess but I made it back to the shuttle with some stuff in my backpack.

Mission was abandoned though.

Well well well, what do we have hear? Just sighted and downloaded my first smear campaign data packet.
At the hab data port of a power restore mission of a small industrial site. The system was an anarchic system
The game gods will provide the needy.... (y) :D

Edit: After enough restore missions and scavenging after. I now have the full set of smear campaigns and 1 new settlement defense plan. :D

I've not been in EDO so far this week. Other stuff consumed my time. There was a new Expedition to do in No Man's Sky, for example. Much fun.

Plus my dog has been very interruptive, and I can't pause EDO. Such is life with a puppy.

This is the character I wound up with in the Expedition, and his spaceship. :p

Good point. I could definitely hear the fans working but they're much quieter than on my old gtx980 ti.

Next job is some file transfers from my old drives - which I overlooked. Sssh... Don't tell Mrs. Tyres as some were rather important :D

Caddies ordered.

Day has, so far, been taken up with stripping parts out of the old PC. It should have been an easy, tool-free endeavour. Was it bug-gery. Got back ache shifting a 20kg rig around, sore knees, cut foot and several broken teeth from excessive angry gnashing *

Now... RGB. It looks flash but I need to find out how to turn it off. Hmm. There are a couple of apps on the PC to control the lighting but it reverts back once they're closed. Ah well, I'll sort it at some point.

* One of these is a lie.
