Been there done that and had lots of fun failing, mainly due to an inability to slingshot around a planet straight into the slot with ludicrous speed engaged.Come to think of it, the guy who said it (Alec Turner) was a racer.
I've tried to be a racer. I've done a few Buckyball races even. Crashed my ship and everything.
Came in last or close to it each time
It was fun, though.

I like the big hammer head thingy but the 4 flippers just remind me of Great A'Tuin and turtles in general.
As for that announcement on fleet carrier interiors..... given FDev track record, I am NOT getting my hopes up on walking round the bridge. Its gonna just be 6000 ARX to change the colour of the hanger wall or sumthing...

No, there's this one specific video I remember. This CMDR was flying his ship - may have been an Alliance one, not sure - insanely in and out of the mail slot and through the ring of an Orbis.

Here's a dramatic shot of me at a crash site. It looks almost monochrome.
I was there to find a suit schematic or some such thing for a mission. There were scavs, before this was taken. They were lousy scavs, low bounties.
I've been doing this a while if I'm rating scavs now, lol.
I got Audio Masking on my 3 weapons now, so that's the current task done. I think I want Stowed Reloading on my pistol (Tormentor). Other than that, I'm happy with the weapons.
My Dominator and Maverick suits are both grade 5, and have the mods I like. So those are also pretty much done. I can't remember if I have a spare mod slot on the Dominator...might still have to pick something for that if I do.
My Artemis is now Grade 4, with one open mod slot. I have already night vision and jump assist on that suit. I'll probably put Increased Battery on it and call it good.

I'm currently grinding for Epsilon Pattern Data. I'm doing it in Open, in the hope that some CMDR comes along and ganks me, to relieve the grind.

Actually you can trade the Odyssey mats. Just drop them on the floor and your friend can pick them up.
