wot mate?
I think he's hinting that "Place that is not a Place" is HD 112028 / HIP 62572 / HR 4893, since if you do a Galmap search for either name it takes you to a spot in the map where no star shows. Maybe it shows in the Nav panel if you get close enough.
edit: or maybe it's a map bug?

How that solution fits all the current clues (i.e. all those in the codex Raxxla entry (Spiralling Stars, Princess Astrophel, Toast etc etc) since those old missions disappeared ages ago) is TBD!

For me finding Raxxla is far less important than the Hunt, i.e. solving the clues!
We've always actually suspected finding it would be disappointing

edit2: it's a map bug, probably should be reported. Currently about 6ly away (at Col 285 Sector IU-K b10-2) and it's not showing in the nav panel. Wanted to check out some other systems in the vicinity so thought I'd check it out. Should have remembered- Do Not Feed The Troll!

But a star does show...its Struve 1694 B, Crash to desktop when you jump, its not right anyways as that should be the binary second star of Struve 1694

Interesting. Ive got all star classes enabled but nothing shows in or anywhere near the cursor when I search for HD 112028. The cursor stops over empty space! And that space is (visually) only around 6ly from current location but nothing shows in the nav list at that distance.

Next time I log in I’ll have a look for your Struve 1694.

You will find Struve 1694 as a seperate system also within 90ly of eachother, HD 112028 is Struve 1694 B which is also the second star of Struve 1694, Most likely something went wrong in the creation of the system making it the working jumpable one and this Struve 1694 B which is an error system and should only be the second binary star, when viewing the error system you will notice the star class is also set as "loading please wait" but the star class and system name are correct for the second star of the non error system

That "loading please wait" se ms to happen all over the place, so I place no emphasis on it.
Have you tried flying into the Struve 1694 B instance to see if it’s the gateway?

By the way, if you think about it. In what year did Braben say that there was a commander or commanders who visited the System? What is the chance that someone accidentally flew there? It's completely minimal, right?Such a commander should have "Lucky ole's Golden Balls". And I thought that if we take into account the year when he told about this event and what direction the pilots had relevant.Where did you fly often at that time?So you can minimally determine the direction of the region, sector...And has the riddle about the queen who rides a giraffe been solved?Because the essence of the riddle is not about the queen, but about the giraffe. And HD112028 is a false target, apparently...I found a star with that name today, but in a completely different system.Apparently a bug...Or not.

And why should a giraffe remember his daughter's hero?I thought about this question and flew through the systems. And I came across hd112028. This system is located in the head of the constellation.

The Camelopardis riddle was a completely unrelated event. It was solved and you can still do so yourself and find what it leads to.

You need to check your facts. It was not Braben who is supposed to have said that the system containing Raxxla had been visited but Michael Brookes; Ascorbius has a yt on it, but since there is no other source to confirm this then we treat it as unconfirmed, and it tels us nothing about WHAT Raxxla is nor WHERE it is..

Raxxla could be anywhere, including in Sol or nearby. If that close to/within the human bubble it would have been found. That is the reason for the rumour about its existence and the Codex Raxxla paragraph “Raxxla also plays a role in several conspiracy theories, most of which attest that it has already been discovered by some kind of sinister cabal (or sole tyrant), which has leveraged its power to establish covert dominance over humanity.”

The riddle about the queen, her daughter and the giraffe is nothing to do with Raxxla. It is one of Drew Wagar’s clues to the megaship Zurara which is a key part of his Salomé storyline which was built into the game (google “Dynasty Plot” and Drew’s YT videos). Drew knew nothing about Raxxla as implemented in-game and that storyline ended a few years ago.

Just reading thru your linked quotes, and I have a question/ interesting point to make....

If "anyone can find it and more than once" is the case.... then... doesn't this imply one of the following things?

1) Raxxla does infact 'move' or change locations/systems, and isn't a static place or object in the galaxy that can be revisited in the same way each time, and would need to be "found" each time someone wants to visit, not just known where it is, even to those who have been there before.

Or

2) Raxxla exists in multiple locations, and there is not one single 'Raxxla', but in fact could be similar to guardian sites and have multiple locations across the galaxy, again, each to be found.....

Or

3) Raxxla isn't a place at all, and is in fact an object of some kind to be found, and more than one exists

Any thoughts??

My thoughts on that statement is Raxxla just sounds like something to screenshot and say you seen it....hopefully not......

Not necessarily, because it could be a moving planet, rogue or fsd moved or some other tech like Thargoid/Guardian AI engines ect.... It could also be a ship of some kind, station, ect...

Then can move to objects, like Thargoid Probes, but even rarer that give your ship some kind of special abilities or who knows.....

The simple fact is, we know the art and other departments can inject new/additional content to what the Stellar Forge creates itself, so there could/very likely is, some tigger/switch/requirement (including needing the thing to actually be in the present system) that's tells the server to inject/load the Raxxla 'thing(s)'.....

But the way that quote is worded, it does imply either a movement of Raxxla, and a constant need to re-locate it, which also would align with the theory/story the DW found and then lost it ..... or it implies there is more than one.....

I'm inclined to go with it moves and can be found in several locations along some route, but not at the same time, more than that there are multiple of them.

So that would mean a ship, or station, or rogue/engine powered planet, that moves either constantly like an orbiting planet or station, or it moves periodically like a Captiol Ship/Freight Carrier could.....

And all of this would align with the quote, a journey every CMDR has to make for themselves quotes as well.....

That the journey is the most important, understanding how and why Raxxla can/does move, will lead you to be able find it every time, even if it's moving, if you can decode the clues that we supposedly have that tell us that information....

The story that the DW found and then lost it, could then also be taken as a hint/guide to CMDRs to not just go looking to find Raxxla at random, because if you just happen to come across it and don't understand how/why/ect.... then when it moves, you'll loose it and not be able to relocate it

I read it, thanks.Very curious. There is an inf.: I talked with David Braben at the bar after an award ceremony. I asked him "Is Raxxla in the game?" He answered with "Yes. And we know where it is." (I assumed the "we" meant Frontier Developments). That's what I meant above when I said what he said about the planet. And that's why I thought it was about the planet in question. Text translation)I'm playing the Russian version and here's what we have written (screenshot):
Original text in Russian, if you need: Краткое изложение мифов, окружающих легендарную планету RAXXLA
Translation of the circled: Summary of the myths surrounding the legendary planet RAXXLA))It says right there, the PLANET.
Does the English version also say about the planet?

And when I start reading the article itself, then yes, there is a lot of information, assumptions, and so on written there.I mean, you need to hide the obvious in a prominent place))But, the exact title of the article speaks about the planet, and not about something mystical, mysterious. The problem is, where is this planet? In which region, sector, square, what coordinates.Plus, your link says about reputation, and that it does not stop gaining from the faction, even if you are an ally with 99%.It turns out that we need to go through a huge number of missions in Shinrarta? Time after time, in a circle? Maybe this implies the expression DARK WHEEL))Time after time, time after time...

And there is no need to consider theories. They confuse you. According to the logic of the developers, they want us to find it, right? And for what?A riddle for the sake of searching and flying around the galaxy? This is nonsense.I believe that when Raxxla is discovered, we will get a plot development in the direction of new technologies for moving around the galaxy. Are the Targoids able to move further than we can in one jump?Maybe we can move in the future to the Colony in one jump?))I do not know, but my logical conclusions led me to this conclusion. And again the question is, how do we get the coordinates?According to the plot?Accidentally stumble upon her?But we need to triangulate, there are too many systems.Or we will be led by hidden quests or those that we miss, as Braben said, calling it a shame. The algorithm of search actions, that's what you need.Where to start...?For myself, the first step will be to complete quests in Shinrarta.Maybe I'll get lucky?)

Interesting.....

English Xbox version does not say planet, for reference...
