But to be honest, the console side was in the same way arguing about information about the state of their plans. In the first month we requested an update on release plans, now we are requesting any information about consoles. Radio silence has just spread out from console community over the whole community.

They have demonstrated a willingness tostir on a regular basis, so any sale of FDev and ED will probably have to deal with them.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I am no Mystic Meg but I would be really surprised if Braben doesn't retain some stake in ED.

TBH, I wouldn't bother worrying about FD getting bought out, if such a thing is indeed on the cards, behind the scenes.
None of us can stop it happening if it does, so there's no point worrying if you ask me.
Just another one of those life moments where if it goes badly for us players, well, we just have to deal with it, frankly.
