Same story here, cannot connect very often. When I do, connection lost on boot. Bummer. Was having a jolly time the past few days!

This issue is still ongoing. If you connect on the 54.XXX.XXX.XXX you can get in but the moment it switches to 176.XXX.XXX.XXX you get dumped. Any official word from Frontier Developments on the issue? I saw someone saying something about a post on the homepage but they didn't provide a link and I can't find it. It would be nice to get some word on what the cause of the issue is and an estimated fix time.

Dang, I make my plans on what I was going to do in-game all day at work, come home and can't connect. It's been several hours now, and the game goes live in a month. Hope they have some serious aces up their sleeve for release day :)

I've managed to stay connected for a little while. Made three hyperspace jumps without getting dumped. Things were starting to look good. I disconnected and attempted to reconnect. Came back up on the 176.XXX.XXX.XXX and still showing disconnected. Guess I shouldn't have logged out.

I had a lot more stability in Solo (not booted once I got in, played for about an hour) but when I logged back into Open Play I was docked about a dozen systems from where I was.

same 172 then to 54, I jumped a system over and its working so far, and logged into the station, everything seems to be working in solo mode so far

It comes and goes. If you get the 176.34.199.147:19364 address, just wait - when it changes to the 54.78.165.44:19364 you can play...

Sometimes you can jump systems, other times you get kicked out to the 174 and you have to wait again. Someone is fooling around with something server side.

In the logs it shows:

{22:15:31} New Primary Server: 176.34.199.147:19364
{22:15:31} New Rescue Server: 54.78.165.44:19364

I suspect that they are trying to bring up a new server (174) and it's a work in progress.

Was playing fine for an hour then I logged out to buy that fancy Chrome skin for my Viper and now I can't log back in. Red start button. Unconnected server. $17.50 for a skin I can't even see and now I can't play at all! Grrrrrrr. I'm an idiot! A shiny chrome plated idiot!

Keep closing and opening the game until you get on the 57 server if you think it's worth it.
I did this only twice and got on. Stayed on for a few hours with numerous jumps and didn't get disconnected. I finally did drop, and then just exited and opened E:D twice to get back to the 57 server. Then stayed for 2 more jumps and a delivery before logging off manually.

Server Unconnected Error

For most of today I have been getting a Server Unconnected error and the start button is red and not available.

I take it the server is down. :) But thought I would check and see if this is my local problem of if everyone else is getting it too.

I don't see other threads talking about it and I would think they would be at the top of the forum if the server were down all day.

Q: Do they have a server status page?
