Running out 500 meters to you ship is less horrible than flying back and forth each time
Well then I guess we'll just have to file support tickets to be reunited with our ships every time it happens, to give a bit of extra motivation.Hopefully it's a bug, but with the way they're fixing bugs lately (the PWS bug introduced in U12 is still not fixed) - aka possibly in the next patch, or in the next-next patch, it may take half a year or more till they fix it.
Same settlement?Well, ugh. I do not like this change.
Also, before the latest update, I was getting around 50fps in GCZs, now I'm getting around 30fps. Anyone else's performance drop with this update?
Could you have taken an Apex taxi/shuttle to that body and then recalled your ship? This is not an issue only with ground CZs. I have exited the game while on foot in a settlement and the next day when I logged on, I was over 200 LY from my previous location and my ship. Spawned stranded on the concourse of the last station I docked to and forced to do a ship transfer. Extremely annoying.
SInce it was over 200 ly away, it was out of shuttle range. I would have to do a taxi ride several times. It's an equally annoying alternative.Could you have taken an Apex taxi/shuttle to that body and then recalled your ship?
I guess stopping at a station/port in the system where the settlement is first could be a good workaround, which shouldn't be necessary. But mitigating risk is better than no option. At least then you're much much closer.SInce it was over 200 ly away, it was out of shuttle range. I would have to do a taxi ride several times. It's an equally annoying alternative.
It doesn't help much if the station is an outpost without a shipyard for transfers. And that makes this issue so much worse - any war in a system with only outpost stations requires you to fly your own ship to the ground conflict zones because Frontline Solutions isn't present.I guess stopping at a station/port in the system where the settlement is first could be a good workaround, which shouldn't be necessary. But if you can apex to another settlement on the same body, you should be able to recall your ship.It doesn't help much if the station is an outpost without a shipyard for transfers. Then they must fix all other instances where relogging can be abused. Fair should be fair.Apparently, this was an intended change:
and they wonder why many people stop playing the game, why is it? It's a simulator, ok, but the relogging was from Day 1, if so much is said that the game wasn't made with that, why didn't they cast it from the day 1?, it's a pain to go up and down to catch 4 objects, like taking a damn taxi to the conflict zones, frontier being frontier nothing new, if it wasn't for the thargoids I would have left the game a long time agoThen they must fix all other instances where relogging can be abused. That's if they teleport you back to the correct station. My friend got randomly teleported to a system he's never been before 200 ly away (without his ship).Especially great when the game crashes.
I liked the "we didn't make any changes, however we made some changes".
Anyway, I can live with that. Take Apex to a CZ, run outside the zone to relog and when I'm done, I teleport back to the station.![]()
