Although my copy is still in progress so I can't confirm it works yet, it has allowed me to use the same email address. I was confused by the wording which said that if I had an existing PC account I wanted to use I could just hit login. As my existing account was an XBOX one I initially tried to create a new account, but it complained that my email address was already in use, so I just went back and used the login option, not the create new account one, and so far it's working.Yes, actually somewhat shocked! My only negative comment on it would be having to have a separate email address. It wouldn't let me reuse the one associated with my xbox....at least I think. Either way, very surprised at how easy this was...now the real test...did everything really transfer?

Ok so if you logged in to the frontier account (before), what information for what account would you get? Could you choose between accounts to view?This doesn't sound right....
I have the same email address on my xbox and my PC account already, and im clearing my PC save and copying from xbox over, there shouldn't be any issue having the same email address for both accounts, there's never been one before
In the forums it's my PC account because it's fdev, but if I go to the support site, I can login with fdev account for PC, or thru login partner xbox link and get xbox accountOk so if you logged in to the frontier account (before), what information for what account would you get? Depending on your issue, someone said chrome was having issues, try Firefox or another browser?Have been trying to complete this process from the moment the web portal opened, but STILL getting database errors. This is very frustrating.
Seriously, I figured that'd take hours with the queue..... 10 minutes later, I'm golden! Can't wait to get out of work and check see my main account back to life in Odyssey!Amazing. Took less than 10 minutes to copy.

My Sidewinder Golden paint migrated successfully and all ships, modules and their engineered tweaks. Time to buy a new Fleet Carrier!
One question: Is there a chance of Cobra mk IV being available, or at least a discount on Odyssey?

Thanks as always for your patience and support. Please encourage any friends you know who play on console to consider copying their profile to PC! This option comes at no additional cost, includes a PC copy of Elite Dangerous, and your original console profile will remain available for play.
- ARX Balance. Please ensure that you purchase desired customisations before you complete the transfer. Any unspent Arx will remain on your original console profile
- Fleet Carriers and their contents. Please decommission these ahead of going through the process so that your resulting Credit balance will be included.
- Your Commander name if it is already in use by another PC player. You will be given the chance to choose a new name as part of the process
- Squadron membership
- Friends lists, Block lists and Private Groups
- Current mission progress
