To be honest I'm fed up with the constant stream of carnivores , we have every single big cat in game but not a single monkey from africa. Africa zones are really incomplete without key monkey staples as most zoos don't have multiple habitats of lemur or bonobos to have filler primate habitats. It's actually one of the reasons I can't continue with my San Diego zoo because I counted 14 ! lemur or capuchin habitats to substitute all the missing species we are missing, I mean not even a colobus monkey which are really common

The mandrill isn't from Africa (or the 3 lemurs we have.....)?

Not the monkeys I'm after, yeah I know some are completely fine with 3 species of lemur but if I have a lemur section in my zoo isn't it a little weird to have even more lemurs in a seperate primate Forest.

Was just a bit curious, because you said, that there would be not a single monkey from africa in the game.......🤔

Ok I'm wrong about the Mandrill, half the time i forget it exists but if I put my nerd glasses on - lemurs aren't monkeys but a different branch of primate

Let's say that the monkeys in the game are very few in general, compared to their presence in zoos.
Many common and iconic African and Asian species are missing, and there is a tremendous, painful and unacceptable lack (apart from the capuchin monkey) of South American monkeys

I've always found the flamigo/crane/peafowl argument weird because even in zoos where they contained in aviaries they simply don't fly, so why should they need to be converted into "aviary animals" in the game? There isn't an aviary in the world big enough to allow for a flamingo to fully take flight. In the wild they only tend to fly to escape predators or to migrate.

When it comes to aviaries, people seem to be fixated on the current walkthrough exhibit we just got.

I predict that we will get a new exhibit type in the next update, which will be a bigger aviary for eagles etc, and not a walkthrough.

I wouldn't have a problem if we get mesh aviaries for small birds......
Like these for example:

For these it would be great to have at least 3-4 different styles (these old ones like the second picture, one with metal frame, one with wooden frame and maybe something like this:

And finally with null barriers or just mesh walls without any frames at least one for example 4x4x4m, one with 8x4x4m and maybe one round one with 8m diameter (that we can build individual designs like this for example:

)
In general 7-8 different basic aviaries...

Then I could imagine that about 70-80% of the players could be happy ...

I'm both amazed and confused with that bottom picture with the wooden replica of an engine turbine for an aviary

I typically just angle snap mesh panels to a square or rectangle chain link barrier. Takes some time getting the alignment perfect but technically its the same
It's not really, though, because the roofs all end up being flat squares. I want a roof set too, plus with a grid-based building set it wouldn't require annoying workarounds.
