Alright lets start this long project for making realistic animal picutres for @DarthQuell . I will provide several pictures for each animal so plenty of choice to choose from.

Lets start off todays addition with the komodo dragon in the indonesian islands. I do hate how low Res the short grass is but can't do much about that

🤔 I think maybe Sand or Dirt would be better. Personally I would've made a Picture of it on a Beach or in a Forest🌴

You think? I should of expanded my references then . I found lots of hill top green Island pics. I get back to it then
Interesting. Didn't know that they live in such Environments too. When I saw Footage of wild ones I think I always saw them at the Beach, in Forests or in Grasslands (I think long Grass).
Also is the Komodo Dragon in the Game a bit undersized? Doesn't look very big when I keep it in my Zoos🤔

Yeah they are way undersize in game. The pics I took was a 67% percent male and 52% female. For reference I judged the pics from this:

Very cool, would love to see more!

I usually take shots of animals in zoo setting, but recently tried to make some more natural ones. I really like this Scimitar-Horned Oryx one, inspired of the real pictures of Oryxes in red sands. It can be a really pain tho, at first I wanted to include more of them, but it was really hard to coordinate so I just went with a single one, haha. Wish you a better cooperating animals! :D

Glad everyone likes this thread! I intend to cover ALL habitat animals over the course of this project with research into appropriate habitats. For information I am not saving habitats as these could be the size of quarter of the entire map to capture the feel of nature

That's a nice picture! It does capture the feel of those reference pictures quite nicely. Most of pictures will be forced placement in the natural terrain - like I mean I move certain animals around in the habitat over and over to finally capture the best scene. The Komodo beach scene was exactly that and it really turned out well. The gazelles themselves were more simple as place 24 gazelle in a small null habitat and wait for them to 'herd' up to capture that sense of the life of an African antelope
