Winter DLC Speculation

We also failed at least this 3 dlcs speculation.
In April possible Tropical or Rainforest dlc? BAM!!! Wetlands
Ok! Now we got a possibloe focus on biomes, so maybye a grasslands pack? BAM!!! Conservation
Ok...we are in Spooky times, and night covers everything, maybye a Nocturnal dlc? BAM!!!!! Twilight
We are really being surprised by frontier.

I really would take all kinds of pack. Be it grassland, islands, drylands, tropical rainforests, birds if it is a mixture of Habitat and exhibit animals. But I still have in mind for speculation that we have Winter in the Northern Hemisphere and that the pack more likely will be based on a colder than a warmer climate theme. With this in mind mountains would be a good potential candidate. You can even put some mountain animals from warmer regions to the pack.
This year has already been very focused on the northern hemisphere, with some exceptions of course. We really don't need an animal pack with a such theme right now. Make it a tropical or feathered Christmas

The Aquatic pack was the biggest pack in the game's history, and it dodn't have a cold focus despite being released in december.
I agree but the King Penguin was the main star of the pack and I could imagine around the whole playership a penguin species was the most wanted animal at that time. And thats why I would put it also a bit into the colder region even if you are right that not the whole pack was composed of cold climate theme.

To be fair, twilight and nocturnal are pretty much the same thing. Just because we didn't guess the exact word doesn't mean the speculation was off.

And regarding the conservation dlc, nobody speculated for it this summer specifically, but since the game was announced people speculated Frontier may retread the "endangered species" concept from ZT2, so it was also speculated.

The only true out of left field was the Wetlands pack.

I disagree. With the Wetlands Pack we got 2 SA species, 1 African species, 1 Australian species, 2 South Asian species and only 1 species which I would call a colder area species (East Asia). With the conservation pack we got 2 colder climate species (East Asia, Central Asia) and 2 warmer climate species (Africa, South East Asia) and with Twilight we got 3 colder area species (1 universal Northern Hemisphere, 2 NA) and one Oceanian species. I really would not say that we got more warmer climate species compared to colder climate species.

The African species we got this year are mostly from the northern hemisphere too (not that it is a bad thing). Some of the Asian species are a bit of both.

You should also count Europe and north america packs.

The point is that it's been nearly a year and a half since the last pack with actual warm climate focus, while of the last 5 packs we've had 4 with a temperate/cold focus and one mixed with the wetlands pack.

Wetlands more or less was warm climate focused but as I said before. I really do not mind which pack but as it is a speculation pack and not a wishlist pack I consider this for my own speculations and with that in my mind I see chances for a colder climate focused pack higher than one mainly for warmer climate. Because I do not want to repeat myself I just Quote myself.

Now we really need more South American animals. We have enough animals from Europe, Asia, Arctic and Africa, but every new addition from there will be always welcome. Animals from North America and Oceania are very well represented, but we need more representations from there. But from South America we really need much animals to have a enough representation for there. For a nice representation, maybye the spectacled bear, maned wolf, ocelot, spider monkeys and tamarins, rheas, sloths, armadillos and emerald tree boas would be enough to cover a bit South America. We really need more South American Animals.
Agree with that. But I think we need at least the Wild Boar too for Europe. Alpine Marmot, Western Capercaillie, Eurasian Wolf and Eurasian Brown Bear would be also absolutely great but I think especially the last two would be extremely unlikely to make it into the Game. Regarding Africa, we still need a Baboon or at least the Gelada or both. A Chameleon would also be nice to have.
For South America I definitely need a Spider Monkey but also lots of other Primates. Also hoping for the Hyacinth Macaw to be included (would love to get all Macaw Species but Frontier didn't even give us the Quanaco as a additional Animal in the South America Pack despite the high Similarity to the Llama so I don't really expect us getting more than 1 or 2 Macaws). Collared Peccari, Two Toed Sloth and Patagonian Mara are also absolute Must Haves for me

I sure wish I lived in whatever alt timeline you're from where North America and Oceania are similarly well represented.
Would be a nice Timeline if we would still have all the Animals from this one in there. Wrote a complete DLC Concept just with Marsupials in another Thread and need so many australian Bird Species in the Game

I think a ‘woodlands’ pack could give us what we need? Could mainly focus on temperate woodland animals like European Hedgehog, Tasmanian Devil and European Bison (for that Winter theming) but could also include deciduous forests which are home to both the White Nosed Coati and Hoffman’s Two Toed Sloth!

I'd rather split this to at least tropical and temperate, if not more splits.

I'm hopeful the next dlc is not something like temperate/mountains/taiga/tundra etc...
because yea I mean It's some kind of fit for winter. we just now got the twilight pack that half of the animals are taiga/temperate and also in conservation pack there is few taiga animals so really we need more desert and rainforest and grassland representation even though the only thing that I like about like mountains pack is the fact that I'm think then another kind of fully another year support kind of confirmed because now expect then the wolverine all the others mountains not really the most wanted animals for the game now so yea of course It's only my personal opinion so u can agree/disagree
also maybe there is also chance for aquarium pack because like we got before two years aquatic pack so maybe frontier will back for this!

also maybe rainforest can be? because the name like rain It's kind of fitting for the winter because there is a lot of rain in the winter and it also can include another walkthough exhibit animal and maybe also another animal that will do the brachiation. who knows maybe macaws? because we got the Educator Exhibit Demonstrations on the shoulder It's just scream to me macaw/parrot even though maybe also frontier can make this exhibit, option that it can be walkthough and not. but yea as it always in the last year everything up in the air so everything possible it can be birds, aquarium, mountains, rainforest and etc... so yea I know I would be happy with every dlc probably but I still have a prefers hehehe

Personally, even with the Himalayas thing being debunked, I still can't shake the mountains idea. It's the "cold" biome that offers the best potential lineup as far as I'm concerned. And I really can't imagine they'll do a pack that isn't at least tangentially seasonally connected.

Isn't it already kind of confirmed? I assume
Not a good combination of words here... The merch is a great sign but I wouldn't take anything as confirmation until it's actually, well, confirmed.
