I thought about a Saiga. I feel like it would be interchangeable in a lineup like this with the Sumatran Rhinoceros. More than one animal in a pack that is RARELY, if never, kept in captivity would be too much I think. Just one is fine though!I really like this idea, though I would demand a saiga antelope in the line-up.Living relic ice-age snufflenose.
Also, a large woolley mammoth statue.
Carribean Islands Pack:

-Cuban Hutia or Jamaican Hutia
-West Indian Manatee
-Rhinoceros Iguana (at least I hope we could get those as Habitat Animals)

-Crested Caracara (Walkthrough Exhibit. Would be good to include a Option in the Update to make the big Exhibit not Walkthrough) or Atlantic Ghost Crab, Puerto Rican Amazon would also be a nice Option. Hard to decide for a Exhibit Animal there
I would've also included a Species of Solenodon If they weren't so incredibly rare in Zoos. Harder than expected to find enough Animals for this unless you would choose multiple Exhibit Animals

Also thought about a Invertebrate Pack but the only Habitat Animals I could come up with were the Japanese Spider Crab (obviously needs to be kept underwater), a Species of Horseshoe Crab and the Coconut Crab which could work equally well as a Exhibit Animal

That is always the case. At the moment I see no reasons to not believe in a Standard habitat DLC perhaps with one flying bird for the new exhibit. For example (someone can correct me if im wrong) saiga herds probably used to follow mammoths and steppe bisons, because saiga alone cant quite move thorugh deep snow, but back then giant herbivores were quickly removing snow cover and this allowed saiga to thrive on mammoth steppe.
Here's a suggestion. I'm in the Amazon rainforest at the moment, and I got inspiration. The "winter theme" will be rain if we must link it to northern hemisphere winter somehow.

True, I didn't mean you as one of thoseWell for starters, just to make it clear, it's not that I don't want a bird pack. Not saying you meant that I was one of those people; but just to make that clear
But if people are then expecting a habitat bird system or an all non aviary bird pack with one bird in a walkthrough exhibit, the bird pack just goes further into the baseless speculation area for me, which is still fine; but that's a form of speculation I'm not really interested in myself.
I wouldn't consider it baseless though, at least not more than most other themes getting suggested these days. Most themes we as a community have gotten right have either been based on obvious missing mammals, continents, or leaks. This year we didn't have a lot of these things left to base our DLC speculation on, and the most echoed themes on the forum haven't been right, with the twilight pack being a bit on the edge.
A bird pack of some kind has been suggested since day one, and that alone makes it somewhat likely to me. Given that other strongly suggested packs have made it in like the continental packs and the endangered species pack in form of the conservation pack.
And given that some of the most highly requested mammals no longer are the typical ABC species, I think a lot of familiar faces to the public outside of this forum are among the birds now. More people would probably be able to recognize a pelican over a Tasmanian devil, or see the kiwi as a more unique inclusion to the game than another dog in form of the maned wolf.
A marine pack would require more work than a mostly habitat bird pack since there isn't much in the game already to base fully aquatic species on.
But we do have habitat birds already to make easy-to-do species from, even some popular ones like the emu.
Among birds, we also find fan favorites among those who played ZT2 like the secretary bird. And yes, they are most commonly kept in aviaries, but they will function fine without them in the game. And it is possible to build one if we like realism.
And while the bats don't promise birds in exhibits, it at least makes it a possibility.
You really want a southern hemisphere and tropical DLC. That is okay but it remains more a wish than realistic speculation in my opinion. So I hope you still have the likely possibility in your mind that it could be again a colder to temperate species focused DLC as it was mostly the case in the past with Winter DLC (Arctic, Europe and in my opinion also somehow the aquatic with the King Penguin as Front animal). Do not understand me wrong. I really would like a tropical rainforest DLC even if I would choose and think about another rooster than you. I would put the sloth as normal Habitat and I am not a Fan of 3 exhibits (for me 1 is enough even with WTE) but we will see how Frontier will handle this. Tropical Rainforests seems realistic for me for Spring or Summer and I hope it will be an animal pack because there are really a Lot of animals I want from this biome.

No....exactly what I wrote.......
I would have nothing against all 3 remaining hyenas but I think the Brown Hyena has the lowest chances after Striped Hyena and Aardwolf.
I don't think that all of them have any bigger chances to be added to the game...because hyenas in general are very rare in zoos.
But the brown hyena is one of the most special desert predators, what would make it perfect for any desert themed pack.
