A couple of thoughts when it comes to managing colonies.
As I understand it, there is no journal ledger for colony materials, therefore we cannot create third party tools to help with tracking what is needed for instillation completion.

Rotation and group rotation can have a feature where it allows the player to set the center of rotation. Because currently, a grouped object has very off-centered rotation point. Also, rotation angle snapping should be customisable to include decimals. And not just 15/30/45 degrees.
So...I think we can all agree that tasking a 8,000kg helicopter to transport a 3kg Compy is...odd. Even if you discard the logics of it...it looks weird in the air.
A good way to fix that (imo) would be to replace the helicopter with drones (which are alredy in the game) to transport smaller...
Since all the emotes added in Update 8 only animate the hands, it would make sense to let players emote from inside the cockpit. It could even send the messages (Player saluted at/waved at/etc. Object) to whatever you're targeting. Imagine saluting a ship with 0% hull as it explodes, for example ;)
