Coordinates : -21.80 | -144.35
Distance from Sol: 191 LY
CMDR Name: FalconFly

Twin Waterworlds A long Way From Home

System EOL PRUAE QB-D c29-9 A1 + A2
Distance from Sol 28100 LY
CMDR Name : DynamicBob

The Wonders of the galaxy are few and far between and this gives explorers the chance to discover the majesty of waterworlds in close proximity to each other.

It may be thousands of years before human civilisation colonies this part of the galaxy so the area will remain pristine for science study for eons to come

Travel Guide Suggestion:
The Shady Acre Geyser Fields located on Delkar 9A were discovered on January 26, 3303 by a sharp eyed Federal Reclamation Co. pilot. Upon this discovery the FRC declared a cease-fire in their war in the Lapannodaya System to frolic in the geyser fields as a much needed reprieve from their duties. Other than just seeing the geysers in one of their many colors, pilots and passengers alike may race either SRV's or small ships along a 4.5km deep expansive canyon corridor.

Millennia of this icy moon being squeezed and stretched over time by its gas giant parent planet and the other moons and the system's star have caused it to crack open and reseal multiple times under heat and gravitational stress. The result is not only spectacular sheer-walled canyons, but canyons and rift valleys nested inside each other.

CMDR The Metroid Tamer

This is a Water world found between Colonia and inhabited Space. The Water world is one with no Atmosphere giving it a nice blue color with the star's light reflecting off of the waters. I called this The Blue Pearl of the Galaxy.

I seem to be a bit late to this thread! I don't know if this location has been posted yet, here's hoping it wasn't!

Made an account on the forums specifically to put forward this system I found while on a tourist mission myself. Here's hoping it gets put in.

Location: Eor Chruia OO-Q E5-6736, specifically body Eor Chruia OO-Q E5-6736 A, the black hole that acts as the system's main star. It's a small red / teal nebula that houses a single star system. The "tourist" name I'd like to suggest is the Twisted Rose Nebula (the twisting being the black hole), although obviously you guys get the final say.

Distance from Sol: Approximately 27,500 Ly

Shots of the Nebula

From really close to the black hole

From outside the nebula. Sorry I didn't get a better one, wasn't thinking about it at the time

X-ray world :
Screenshot_0014.png
On this earth-like world, used to have only a neutron star as source of energy, a very peculiar life appeared under the constant beam of radiations. It's study should provide plenty of discoveries.

my waterworld.jpg

Paradise Island, in Bleia Dryiae BH-S D5-30, a system filled with wonders. Here, you can find any materials you're looking for, and while you're at it you can stop by this dancing trio of beautiful ringed worlds. One of them hides a very particular secret! Get in close and you can see this equatorial island. Go on, look closer, it's there. Hidden by the rings of the planet, there is one tiny little white dot on the surface of this otherwise impossibly blue orb. But don't be deceived, this planet is massive! That island could very well be home to a large population, but given its gravity, they'd have to be Amazons.

(Paradise Island is on Bleia Dryiae BH-S D5-30 A 8) You might have to wait until a certain time of day though, because it's hard to see anything that tiny at night!
(on a more serious note, the planet has no atmosphere and couldn't be home to a land population. Could have mermaids though! The other water world in the dancing trio does have an atmosphere though. It would be a slightly cold world with maybe a few islands, and any of them near the equator might be decent temperatures for humans. Would be a very high pressure world though, and at 2.21 G, you'd have a rough time walking around on your boat OR on an island)

What makes this system interesting is the fact that it orbits a black hole, and thus making the neutron the only source of light, aside from the galactic halo, allowing for stunning views both of the galactic core, being 1320ly above, and the neutron's rings.
