Patch Notes Update 2.3 Beta, Update 2.1

I guess NPC hired as crew are not actually crew. Rather crude. This is the first Beta i've avoided.
those NPCs are stored in hidden container - and they die with the ship!
I don't see why that would be obvious. There's no technical reason why you can't invite someone to crew with you in your Solo session, if fighting other players is not your thing.

Is there?

Except that of course the more pedantic among us will start up with "then it's not solo is it" ;)

its called group mode and you are free to use it.

This is the final straw. How completely inconsiderate are you? Just looking through these forums you can plainly see that multi-crew is the priority of every Elite player the world over, and you have chosen the middle of a WORK DAY to finally unlock this feature in the 2.3 beta. Don't you understand that you should be working around what is convenient for the majority of your playerbase who, like me, work solid 9-5 GMT and are now stuck in our workplaces unable to participate in the beta that WE PAID FOR!

Honestly, I don't understand how you can make such a elementary mistake that is not checking the work schedules of your loyal community (except for the Australians, but until they have a decent net infastructure no one cares about them anyway). I am now losing hours of looking at stuff before anyone else does! Time is money people!

First the disgraceful delay of the beta itself, then you don't even include the only feature ANYONE cares about, but now you sneakily activate multi-crew WHEN I AM AT WORK! The way you treat your loyal commanders is so abusive it borders on criminal! There are almost 2 other space games we could be playing! Looking at only part of the picture on this "active users" tool it is clear now that others feel the same as me and are leaving your joke of a game in droves; and because this is MY opinion it is also the opinion of the many thousands of people who I have never met but just KNOW they think as correctly as I do!

This is the death knell of Elite: Dangerous. You mark my words!

Multi-crew not works in solo mode - no this option in the friends tab.

does multicrew work in solo?

I don't think it's a stupid question, I was also wondering can I accept multi-crew invitations from friends, or can I find multi-crew ships while I'm playing solo mode, because I have to log out to join that multi-crew ship anyway.

And it's a beta, things may change...

That's because Multi-crew is group/open only... Solo means just that.... Someone get a dictionary please.... ;)

REALLY?!

No Man's Sky released their Path Finder update today, and now you release MultiCrew .. I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME IN MY LIFE FOR ALL THIS!! *breaks down and cries in a corner*

Just be glad Chucklefish hasn't pushed Starbound's space revamp yet. That would be the ultimate triefecta of 'WHY ARE THERE ONLY 24 HOURS IN A DAY?!?!?'
 
Could we have some more explanation of the exploration ranking reward system? Are the percentages additive or whichever is higher?
