greetings commanders
has anybody else noticed a severs drop off in bounty values when interdicted on delivery missions?
since the update the 2 interdictors I have dispatched were both assault ship, an expert and a master.
pre update, easy 100k each, these 2 only 7500 each!
Is this just for me or has it hit everybody
fly safe

that is 75 hundred not 75 thousand. ammo costs more than that!

Not sure that they're not changed, I just saw a 2,7m data delivery mission to Jaques and a 3,4m to Tenjin from the same agent. Fly around the bubble, collect a few dozen of those, add a few passengers and the trip will be very profitable. Still even if you make $200m from the trip it's still a similar time commitment to most money making.
Don't forget there's a limit of 20 missions at once, so you can't just take "all of them". Still, 40-75 million if you get a full set of 20, compared with 30 million for the exploration data you'd make travelling out there, is a decent bonus.

(You also will then be in Colonia, where there are a wide range of local high-paying missions available with a bit of prep work)

There are lots of ways to earn enough money to rebuy a big ship they just need you to invest a little playing time into the game unfortunately too many of us seem to want to achieve anything in one quick session.

That's the whole point - I don't want it "in one quick session" but I also don't want it in "5000 slow sessions". This is a game, I will be ganked, I will pick up a wanted passenger and be exterminated by the station, I will hit a shieldless hauler at 101m/s and be exterminated by the station, after which I don't want to "play" for 1000 hours to get back to square 1 after that happens. Because it's not play, it will feel like a horrid chore that I'm being made to do because I was playing like it was, you know, a game, rather than concentrating like a surgeon doing open heart.

Is there really no goldilocks zone between "one quick session" and "all my weekends until next easter"? If we go with your ferrari/quick session stuff, it will only be a matter of time before players sell their Big 3 because they'd rather earn 300k risking 1m than earn 400k risking 50m. The first to sell will be the players who never exploited and money is tight. Last to sell will be the Quincers and Rheans who got 55 trillion credits (Fdev's figures) in 2 days and so have enough for 1000 rebuys even at your zero fun allowed reward rates

  • Fixed an issue whereby all Barnacles in a system would appear in the Navigation Panel after scanning just one

This was a bug?? i thought it was awesome finally finding em all :( 36 in one system where we have found 3 in all the years. What a waste.....

okay so what about the missions? I have seen a lot of systems with millions population in boom not spawning any missions at all. Is this now fixed or will i be upset when getting home and starting Elite?
:(:(:(

 :O

I was enjoying exploring planets with this new 'feature' - please don't turn it off. Or at least implement something better. This is like the Neutron highway 'mistake' it makes the game so much more enjoyable to play. Without this feature, every commander will just drive past anything hiding on the planet surface without ever finding it.

Such a waste. Why go to all the trouble of placing interesting things on planets that will never be found. There is nothing else like this in the game right now. No clues, no game play, nothing like this feature. This feature has literally made me go out and explore again.

Why do you keep killing Exploration, why ??

This has made me very sad today. [where is it]

Missions

  • Fixed Engineer invite missions not spawning in certain systems
  • Fixed an issue where only massacre missions were spawning instead of rank missions

Russian joke:

- China decided to hack Pentagon server.
- Every Chinese citizen got one try to guess the password.
- 90% guesses were "Mao Zedong".
- On 315256200th try, the Pentagon server agreed that its password was in fact "Mao Zedong".

Seriously, "Fixed: Engineer invite missions" and "Fixed: Rank missions" entries appear at almost every patchnote. How about fixing these once and for all by making them 100% spawn chance at any mission board that is eligible to spawn them???

With the current mission payouts it does take quite a long time, I don't take advantage of the exploits you see come out, so grinding credits when they go as low as they are currently in 2.4 sucks

The fact that you need 83 million to rebuy your cutter just means you need to earn more before you buy it, after all once you have the recommended three times the rebuy before you start flying it means you only need to be earning 83 million between each loss of the ship which shouldn't be that frequent an event.

As to the other point he is more likely to say sign this release and we will get back to you after the background checks are completed it shouldn't take longer than a month.

Hi there aRJay
I see you're still telling people they're wrong even when they're right.
I have a Cutter and it's my main ship for just about everything.
I earned it the hard way. Never taking advantage of the exploits even when it was easy to do so.
Guess what. I'm far too frequently having to park it while I earn the rebuy in my Python or Asp-X
Why is that?
Because the rewards for flying around in a Cutter are rubbish. It takes me a week in the cutter to earn 40Mil credits, and that's putting in 4-6 hrs a day. What between finding the best trade routes, or ferrying stupid passengers who want to go everywhere for next to nothing, then changing thier minds and demanding stuff from stations on the way. Only to lose it all because some idiot scanned you when you docked at that station the passenger asked for and you've never been there before blah blah blah.

I'm not a noob. I now how to fly and find stuff and I say that the rewards are too stupidly low for owning a big ship. There should be more "Big Ship" missions that can offer rewards commensurate with their size and abilities.
For instance where are the Missions that require 720 tons of X to go to Y for 7-20mil?
And don't you dare to suggest stacking. I have to suffer the "Ship too large" messages when I try to find missions, Where are the "Ship too small" messages?

Damn, I hoped this 'feature' was intentional to compensate for the lack of exploration tools and scanners that don't tell you where anything is on the surface - meaning you can only find stuff by spending many many hours staring out of the cockpit as beige barrow landscapes scroll by :(

I feel your pain.
I wish we had planetary scanners that would reveal stuff. I would be exploring and scanning everything and having lots of fun doing it.

But it seems the NEW game play is to scan a Thargoid Stucture uplink inside the structure and it will reveal all the barnacles in THAT system.
