Does the BGS get its daily update on weekends?
I ask because it's now 18.10 GMT and I can't see a Sunday change having been made to minor faction influence scores. I'm pretty sure the four systems I'm monitoring and running missions in would have had some influence changes. Saturday's change seemed to go through during the afternoon (I was playing in the morning and again in the evening, and saw a change in influence scores between the two sessions). I was running missions on Saturday evening after the change, and again this morning, and some this afternoon, but have seen no system changes today.
I've sensed previously on some weekends that influence scores for minor factions can stay static across one or both days.
Hmmm you would have thought it would be blue downward arrow then. Oh well, it's nice to know I am not wasting my time then, as this makes all profit.
It was still in progress just after 1900: a system I checked at about that time showed different figures at 1910.Tick is now 18.30 UTC.
The most likely reason for this, is that the faction you are trying to start a war with is already in a conflict (war, civil war, election) in another system. Factions can only be in one conflict state at a time. the easiest way to check is to ready the news bulletins in the station/outpost in the system. Otherwise, check the system map in all the nearby systems.Hi everyone, I was hoping someone helped me clear up something, but apparetnly, when it comes to the BGS, nothing is ever certain.
So me and a few friends are trying to get a minor faction to control a system, that faction does not own any station, but it has already equalized and actually passed another faction that owns at least one outpost there. Wasnt something supposes to happed that allowed us to try and take over that outpost? the faction we're supporting is in boom state and continues to gain influence, at this point its almot 10% above the one with the outpost but no civil war, election or anything has been triggered. Is the boom state overriding it for some reason?

....panding conflict blocks conflicts going pending to be 100% accurate
Actually.... its pending or active conflict prevents conflict going pending![]()
how about recovering?
True, unless you want to see what has been happening for a while. There is no history in the status summary, but the bulletins give a clue what was going on.Agreed, though these days the Faction Staus Summary - always at the top of Galnet Section, removes any need for investigating past one click.

I'd love to know what those are, because it appears to happen every time there's not a blocking state in play (i.e. an existing conflict/cooldown for the third party).Elementical said:It only happens when a very specific set of circumstances occur.
