The FSS is approximately 100% more fun than the good old honk.

It's also verifiably 100% more interactive. But hey, who in there right mind would actually want to interact with the product they purchased?

The FSS is not the product any of us purchased. Thats part of the problem, its been forced on everybody. They ought to be giving those that want it their money back.

Seeing how far We've come with no response in any shape or form from anyone even closely related with FDev, i can't help but not share Your enthusiasm.

Honestly i don't see FSS as a 'troll'. It was implemented in good will so as to fill what many considered a hole and rightfuly so. No game developer would make game unplayable to people out of sheer being a .

FSS sure is much more interactive. And an improvement in terms of 'gameplay' deffinitely. However it imposes greater timesink for those who seek different approach to exploration from the "completionist" or "cherry picker". Amount of time spent in FSS just to see if the system has anything particularly interesting in terms of bodies' placement makes seeking out systems with extraordinary configurations even greater problem timewise. We don't want to vouch for FSS being removed but a solution being introduced that would allow all those who wish(as in optional module) to reveal system map(the way it used to be before but with introduced balance and increased costs) to allow more exploration related playstyles.

It's not players' fault. Everyone has their right to like / dislike an aspect of the game.
I believe many have gone against each other in this thread rather than focusing on making compelling arguments or providing viable suggestions as to how satisfy both sides.

See, that's the thing here. You find it enjoyable.
Please take note that many have raised their voice providing arguments as to why they don't. And that's our right. Just like it's Yours to support FSS wholeheartedly.
We only wanted to give feedback on the FSS. Provided balance propositions, made points as to how it could be made viable again.
I bet that if FSS was taken down for whatever reasons You would be on these forums claiming it was bad decision of FD to remove it.
That's what we are doing here. Trying to find a compromise.

I believe that if we focused on the matter itself rather than fighting off each other then maybe we could find a way to make everyone happy.

Please note, that I have noted that. I am just giving silly troll posts a taste of their own medicine. If they can't take it, they shouldn't dish it.

The person seems to have an issue with people enjoying something they don't. People like that deserve nothing and certainly do not deserve my respect.

I also suspect Fdev do not take kindly to their pathetic comments either which are somewhat derogatory to the ED devs.

They put the FSS in the game in full knowlage that it was going to dump all over the existing explorer community and cheapen all the achiavments up to that point. They were told repeatedly so and that it was bad. Not only did they ignore all that feedback but also forced it on everybody. I dont see any good will, infact i see a complete distain for people who were invested in the game with both time and money.

You've posted hundreds of complaints about the FSS across multiple threads, yet in your own words you've never tried it out for yourself. You just watched an OA vid that one time.
