@Patrick_68000 lmao! glad those chairs fit your bill, first one i would fall asleep at the controls(so comfee) and that last one reminds me of school days! sore butt! :p

To help protect your furniture get a throw (that's what they are called!) to put over your delicate leather chair. It's basically a blanket for your chair and if you pick a good material your cats claws won't be as damaging on the hard to replace leather of the chair.

It will be easier then getting your cat to wear cat-gloves!

O. .. thin blankets on the chairs, this is probably one of those things that I hate most in life!
Matter is always creates folds under my body in the most inconvenient place, and the cloth constantly need to correct - it's terrible distraction.
I think I hate it that the same extent as the TV remote control in a poly bag (so that the remote is not erased markings on the keyboard).

But, in any case, thanks for your advice!

I too am debating on whether it is worth getting onto the our our alpha testing phase of the game. I have all the time in the world to invest on this as I can't work and I am good at writing.

I have just worked out that if I stop playing Eve online with my two accounts then this will go part of the way for paying for the alpha test.speaking of Eve online I believe a lot of people from that game will look at ED and think "why the hell am I playing Eve when elite dangerous looks so bloody awesome!!!!!" Ever since one of my friends on the eve told me about ED I have been watching with great anticipation and with every video released by interest is tweaked that little bit more!

Alpha Testing --- Fight on

How about on the first day of Alpha testing you both go head to head in combat.

How can we help with Alpha Testing

Should we try to agree all to be in the same system at a particular time..?
So The techies can do a load test and we'll get to see how many concurrent online users can be in the same place at the same time?

( -- we could organise a scrap or two between gangs / groups as well)
That would be awesome.

If folks agree -- anyone care to name teams?

We could then start to hype up this scrap so it's like a Rumble in the Jungle....

No you can't access alpha and beta with only digital copy. But you will access gamma test (after beta)
you will have :
2nd round beta test with £50 tier
1st round beta test with £100 tier
alpha test with £200 tier

The game is scheduled for release in March 2014 for Kickstarter backers.

If at any point that changes you'll find out here.

Not sure if I am a kickstarter backer or not. Because I order 03 Mar 2013 :(. Family Birthday in late Feb (same day) early march same day.
