Uh oh, my house is on fire! Better wait 15 seconds though, I don't want to have to rebuy my Cutter...
In terms of being more important than the video game "I fancy a coffee" is more than sufficient.

An easy fix for the menu log for emergency reasons ie kids etc would be the same process but instead of having to wait 15 seconds to click yes to quit is just to allow the player click yes but a darkened screen where the game waits the 15 seconds. This way if the front door goes, a child is crying etc then the pilot can leave knowing that the game will quit automatically in 15 seconds. Personally if my child was crying I'd put them before a video game and I'd just leave my pc immediately regardless of whether or not I'm under fire but then I tend to prioritise real life over pixels whereas some don't.
Fixing the menu log would remove the people who combat log for emergency reasons.
Don't play in open then ^
Only had one situation where I had to drop my controller and go.
Was in super. Pointed the ship out and full throttle. Easy.
Combat logging for coffee isn't going to cut it in combat...
Some interesting excuses here.
They had plenty of opportunity for healthy dialog. They've ignored a glaring issue for years.
Its not going away.
Exactly, I don't buy that excuse for combat logging. No life story but I care for a family member who is terminally ill, and if I hear coughing or spluttering in the night I drop the controller and go, sometimes I scrawl down "afk" in chat, and sometimes the person even stops shooting.
Contrary to what a lot of people think about PvPers, most are not children, and understand s- happens.
There are so many different ways to potentially offend the easily offended it's easy to tie yourself up in knots trying to not offend anyone. I'm sure people get 'offended' by your choices of how, when & where to play, just as you are offended by an 'inconsiderate' player with a poor connection to you in your instance.
Try not to offend, but try not to be so easily offended either. Nobody's perfect. They probably think it's your connection that sucks.

Well. My game. My choice.
With that logic the gankers can keep ganking no?
It doesn't matter how intelligently or articulate the proposal is. You're going to do as you wish and so am I.
If throwing FDev to the wolves is what it takes to rectify a problem then so be it.
It's garnished a ton of attention here. I hope SDC continues their mission until it's goal is met.
Unfortunately it's not a minor problem. In terms of power play I've experienced logs in excess of 50%.
Piracy was lower averaged over all, but some days saw logs as high as 90%
Although I doubt we will reach agreement on it. I see it nearly everyday. Depending on your play style you may not.
Not always easy to keep track of how they are taking damage while tanking cops, prepping limpets and talking to who I'm trying to pirate.
There's a few here and there but honestly it's pretty rare
How do you tell the difference ?.
They have used that logic for years, yeah. Don't like it when the tables are turned it seems.Well. My game. My choice.

No form of cheating is truly acceptable but since they wouldnt ban the 5/1 exploiters dont expect a ban for CLogging.
Now if they did decide to start banning people I would say start there then move on to others.
theres no point in me laying this all out
This is utter condescending garbage.
You just can't be bothered to put the effort in, just like the Clogging gankers can't be bothered to accept they won't win every fight. Do you want everything handed to you on a plate, or are you going to put some effort into achieving your goal?
Please, elaborate.
