Holy heck it is like talking to a wall, they do not seem to understand that there is a small albeit vocal minority that wants the feathers. If there was a vote it would sink faster than the Titanic.

It's totally ubelievable to see until where people can be mad and totally selfish when something is not what they know is right
I just come back, as I receive a mail as someone posted in my thread, hoping that something change, but people here became meaner that before, just because people demand if something that we dream to see in a dinosaur game can be add in the game as an option or even just a future DLC, hoping that maybe devs can not forget some people like me, ArchEmporor and others. Even if we are a minority who think like that, we are a part of the community too, and yes, we understand that in the lore the INGEN scientist try to create some species without feathers like Velociraptor, Gallimimus and others, as actually we don't know really which family, which group is able to had only scutes, feathers or the 2. I don't understand why a simple option that will not have any incident in the game and in the gameplay, as a paid DLC for example, can just be forbidden for us. Devs say for the moment no feathers for the main game, yes I know, it's just that, I know, and everyone know that before that will be able to have a dinosaur game as good as this one, we will need to wait a very long time, and that will be cool if the devs can just don't forget anybody of the community, even us
I don't try to say that you're wrong and just try to attract the attention of the devs, I just want to say, yes we know that normal dinosaurs in game don't have feathers, but we are too a part of the community, and we as you, we just want to have a good experience when we play the game, an option like we saw for change the skin of the dinosaur or even a DLC just would be great, everyone can have the dinosaur as we want, and everyone who have the game just can be happy, when you see the dinosaur that you dream to see become almost a reality, as the first time I see my first dinosaur that I skin and mod myself in Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. If your not ok, maybe just don't come here, but please, let the people dream, with maybe the that maybe this will be come true
It isn't going to come true . Frontier is not going to waste their time and money to do something against what the franchise is. I have said it a dozen times in this thread. If you want feathers on dinosaurs play a different game.
Doesn’t JWE's Edmontosaurus, Tsintaosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus and Suchomimus fly in the face of what the franchise is, when considering that they appear to be accurately portrayed?
Besides while I don’t think it’s an urgent priority for Frontier to create more accurate version skins of some of the game's species, at the same time though, I hope it becomes an optional DLC; thus allowing players the freedom of choice and variety in how they want to build their parks. If players want to have the dinosaurs as they were portrayed in the films then that’s perfectly fine as they won’t have to buy the pack, if players want to have the option of creating more accurate dinosaurs then that’s fine as well, especially considering Frontier's satisfactory work on DLC for Planet Coaster.
Why don't people get into their skull that this game is licensed and that they already said themselves that they will stay true to the franchise and JP lore.
Having some species added (without any feathers) is a big difference.
The reason that we don't want them to put their time into making feathered dinosaurs is simply because it would take time away from much more important additions that stay true to the JP canon, like aquatic and avian dinosaurs and more species and attractions.
For those who want feathered dinosaurs, this isn't the game for you!
None of them have ever been in a movie. Also they are all given a JP look that fits with the other Dinosaurs. Like the shrink wrapping and so on. The lore says no feathers.

That’s what I’m saying! Having feathered/more accurate versions of the dinosaurs in the game is not an urgent priority, if anything it’s far down the list when considering the lack of pterosaurs and marine reptiles in the game.
So it’s perfectly fine to have more accurate features on dinosaurs such as Edmontosaurus' comb, Tsintaosaurus' crest anatomy updated, and Suchomimus' being a perfect copy of Julius Csotoyni painting for JW? But the idea of letting some of the dinosaurs have feathers is a big no-no?
How are they given a JP look that fits with the other dinosaurs? I don’t see any degree of shrink wrapping on any of the dinosaurs revealed so far.

Actually Edmontosaurus Comb first in perfectly with the most recent findings, Tsinataosaurs horn needed an update since it would look like a male anatomy.
You know, this discussion ended 10 pages ago then escalated beyond the original point. Whether JWE had feathered dinosaurs or would eventually turned to questioning whether or not they should. Whether or not they should is besides the point. That's a choice that Frontier makes and it's beyond our control. Either way, it would be completely optional anyway, which many who are vocal against the idea of feathers expressed their approval of.
Thanks for this, even if you don't like us as I said we are too a part of the community, and we can say, as everyone, what we wish to see in the game, people just want that anybody see us
And you said it's not a priority but I think that a DLC or an genetic option for add feathers will take really less time that create all the mechanics for the flyings reptiles and the aquatics reptiles, and devs already said that there will not be aquatics and flying reptiles in the game as the feathers, so I think said this is completly invalid, just ignore this thread and let us talk about what we want to see in this game, this will be the only thread where we will talk about that, I think that ignore us will be the best solution for everyone

So you are just here for attention i guess but i'm sure all this thread did was to turn even more people against the idea of feathers on the dinosaurs in this game, since you featherfanatics are just so obnoxious.
Even if for the moment I will don't buy the game, I just hope that a day something change, and I don't turn people to "featherfanatics" (and I think you exaggerate this) but just permit to the community who think like me to have a thread where we can talk about what we want for the game, it's just this, nothing more, is you are against this, just ignore the thread, as we said before
You basically have been like a toddler crying and complaining that the game doesn't have what you want. The huge majority of the community wants JP dinos. You have stated your point numerous times and did the " I am cancelling my pre order because....". Now you are just grasping for attention.

You said that you and the community want JP dinosaurs, but almost the half of the dinosaurs show don't have a JP style, they have like de Metriacanthosaurus or the Suchomimus the look of the web site dino, and on the web site the 2 have feathers, so as they don't have a JP style you want to remove them for a more JP monster look creatures ?
And I suppose that devs need to remove too the change skin system, as if the dinosaurs don't have the same look as in the movie they don't have the right to be in the game because the animals need only to be like in the movie ?

Just ignore him, he doesn't want to accept that Frontier said that they want to be loyal to the franchise and that this game is licensed and that Universal has also a saying into how the dinosaurs will look.

There are more than 4 people that want no feathers on the dinosaurs. Just because you and maybe 2 more want it doesn't mean we do. There are more than just theses forums you know. Every dinosaur that they have shown us has the JP or extended universe look to them. I think it is silly to want creatured that look nothing like source they are based off of (JP lore). I never once insulted you. I explained why feathered dinosaurs don't belong in this game. I'll say it again. If you want feathers play different game.
