Any teamwork driven CMDRs in Valheim?

I've opted for short-hand for my maps. BC burial chamber, FE Iron, CU copper, etc, else my maps become even mopre hellish to read than they already are. I wish that there was a broader selection of icons to place. On maps where I mark 'more than four' bushes with a spot, the maps become an absolute mess especially when zoomed out!

Has anyone tried the new fishing bait recipes? I can't be bothered and seem like grind for the sake of grind.
Since I havent discovered the trader I'm interested but nothing indicates any of it so far.

If you don't mind "cheating" there is a world generator on the web and if you put your seed into it, it will show you where everything is.

For your ease of finding...
 
I heard there is ballistae now? Someone try this putting on a cart? You can use cart for water travel. It'd be the first Battleship in Valheim.
And what happens if I build cart track and at the end a portal? Would I retain the kinetic energy when I was propelled into portal? Probably not but I want to try carting off a slope / incline / mountainside.

From what I've seen & heard the ballistas seem to fire on the player as well as any critters. So... perhaps they're not as helpful as they should be...

e. ...however... it seems that the devs may have listened to the sizeable feedback, and may well be changing their behaviour.

Abbreviated Patch Notes:
* Tweaked mistlands gear recipes and stats
* Ballista behaviour and recipe tweaks
  • Mistlands events, spawning and ai tweaks
  • Various balancing tweaks for comfort and fish
  • Fixed various animation, effect and gameplay issues
  • Music will fade out correctly for locations when continuous music is turned off
  • Optimised game assets to decrease RAM usage and game download size

So.... no more 'friendly fire'.... I hope.

I've just started a new map and having the usual fun just exploring. It's quite relaxing... despite that pack of wolves tearing me apart....
 
Plains are stark contrast to before. I rarely had to watch stamina as much. Even considering upgrading food. Just don't want to farm stuff for food upkeep. Then again - I don't need to "farm" the "old" foods anymore, right?
Is just that my ingredients don't grow on field and take kinda longer to get. I guess I know now why they tame wolves and spawn farm.
 
I've checked the world generator but since it's generated with old save it seems inaccurate. There might be a trader off a coast I have a portal on. I could gen a new world and live the chillful live there, but there will be other updates coming anyway.

When you use the world generator you should select the version it was created with.
