They've been very clear about the plan moving forwards.
Can you be anywhere near serious, for just one moment in time?

Why would I be serious ?, it's just a video game forum.
Besides which what I posted is as true now as the last few times I've mentioned it to you.
So....no. That's that then.
Im on my third commander and this is the one i have had longest, enough hours so that i got to dangerous in combat, i guess.
My first two commanders i cleared the saves out of frustration with the engineers.
I think how small the particular element is debatable - PP is whole "update version" when it was released.if one small element of the game is changed in a manner that you don't agree with? Seriously? I don't even...
How discussing refunds relates to resetting own save I am not exactly sure?..I bet non of people threatening with uninstalling/asking for refund will delete their saves. Guess whyLet's see the screenshot of OP's deleted save first and then to discuss his statement.
Anyone else thinking of asking for a refund?

And how significant the open-only restriction is debatable too

Why would i delete my save? I dont even understand the logic of connecting the two.
I dont play much but i paid for the game and if FD proposes to start arbitrarily deleting features, the question i have, is why arent you concerned about that?

the game worked "fine" is hardly a clear-cut legal definitionNo, it's not debatable in any serious or worthwhile way - the game worked fine without it, and 99% of the game's features remain unchanged by the proposed change. If you feel it is; pay to put it in front of a lawyer for a preliminary discussion and see what they say. It'll be "That's fifty quid, please. If you think that's expensive, I've just saved you a few thousand by telling you that you have no case".
I don't think so.And even if they were, FD is allowed to do so. FD could delete the whole spaceship thing and make the game a Mario Kart clone if they wanted!
Not quite sure how you can get a refund from an free update to the game?
Powerplay was formally announced to launch as the third major free content updates for Elite Dangerous. It was released on June 5, 2015.
I thought the Engineers was as low as it was possible to go in bad game design, but here FD is thinking about changing the basic nature of the game after we bought it.
Not that i really care whether pp is open only or not, but just on the principle that FD shouldnt be rewarded for changing the basic nature of the product from what was advertised and sold, I am thiniking about asking for a refund. This sets a precedent i dont want to see play out.
A vendor removing basic features from a product after its sold and the money is in the vendors pocket seems unethical, maybe fradulent, and possibly illegal.
I don't think so.
Apple also thought its their own iOS for their iPhone and they can change it whatever way they want (and changes were minor anyway). Pretty quickly they had to reconsider (totally out of good will and voluntarily, of course)
