GpuWorkTable.xml in exe folder (products/...), something like this file named.NOT to compile
I made a copy of the file under v22.5.1 and locked it. Installed 22.5.2, and it still made the planet tech look bad. I was wondering where else the game store this information so I can keep it from generating new information.GpuWorkTable.xml in exe folder (products/...), something like this file named.
This file tracks driver updates etc. and triggers redo. Maybe you could update in manually by new version.
22.5.1 is your best bet for now. I've also made a ticket for AMD and Frontier, and please vote it up.So the driver rollback is the only solution? Im propably not going to bother.
22.7.1 has released. It's not fixed.
Sounds like your able to land on planters again. What about performance? Are you experiencing any increases or decreases in your FPS?22.7.1 partially fixed it for me.
With 22.5.2 through 22.6.1 it would take hours to run the terrain timing generation and would crash immediately upon loading a game near a planet surface or entering orbital cruise.
Now, I'm just getting the color weirdness on foot. Shader/terrain prep works normally and I haven't encountered any crashes, yet.

Sounds promising - I'll give it a go tonight. It's almost 10% faster in GPU limited scenes, relative to 22.5.1, on my 6800 XT.
That's interesting. I never had any shader/terrain prep issues, but for me 22.7.1 is behaving basically identically to everything since 22.5.2. Game runs slightly better than before, but crashes with Orange Sidewinder if I descent to a planet.22.7.1 partially fixed it for me.

Oh, the same as in my own PC....Strange thing is that i built a new computer about a month ago and havent been able to play since. AMD 5900X and 6900XT.

This is really weird. I have no issues with any other game so far. Im still almost sure that the problem is in my rig and not amd drivers etc. But im not going to roll back for a gameOh, the same as in my own PC....
At least I can play EDO, and every other game I choose, using the recommended AMD drivers. Odd, isn't it?
