I do need to ask if the ARX we get is via things we do, then what about me going to fly Hutton ? 45min flying in space, to only get 1 ARX ? I understand they want to give ARX by the actions we do so people don't just stay in the station and wait ARX timer to go up, but there is things like flying in space so long, what would only give 1 ARX... I'm not sure if this is even rewarding, more so not balanced what so ever....
Also I need to note that 400 ARX is fine if we get 1 ship paintjob or full ship kit per week. But if ARX will be something what we get only so little, it makes entire September update ARX useless. idk bit upset ...

That...was kinda an odd stream.
Showing off new features for new players is great, and Frontier should be applauded for adding those features because more Commanders in the game is great - but those new players aren't going to be watching a stream for a game which they probably haven't brought yet.
As such the main motivation to watch the stream for this Commander was to learn about the gameplay to Arx conversion, and we got almost nothing on that.

2x 25,500 = 51,000 ARX
1 x 25,500 = 14.99 GBP
2 x 14.99 GBP = 29.98 GBP
1 x 51,000 = 29.99 GBP
You save a Penny by buying 2x 25,500. But you get only get a +1,300 bonus which (x2) = 2600 ARX on top.
Total 53600 ARX
Single purchase 51,000 (+3,000 bonus)
Total 54000 ARX. you get an extra 400 ARX for an extra penny.
Which is one Week of Passive ARX earning.

The bank charges both a percentage and a flat rate on every transaction. For example they might charge 3%+20p. That's not significant if you are charging £5, but it destroys your profit if you are charging 50p; the bank will take 22p leaving you with only 28p. Once you figure in charge-backs and foriegn currency conversion fees, it's going to be an impossible business model.
Nothings changed with the ARX introduction at all, except slow freebies for all.
Buy the cosmetics if you like or don't has always been how this worked since pre-release.

400 arx per week... This encourages me to only play the minimum amount of time required each week, in order to get the 400 arx.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like they have good reason not to disclose the pricing until it is too late.
A paint job currently costs 100 Frontier points on a console or you can buy 6 on PC for £3, which is 50p each.
There is a 20:1 conversion factor, so that make it 2000 Arx.
You can buy 8400 Arx for £5, so 1 Arx is 0.05952p
So a single paint job costs 2000 x 0.05952 = £1.19
That's a remarkably high mark-up. The six-pack is almost buy two, get four free.

500 points for corvas voice that cost £5.00 now becomes 10,000 Arx.. aka still £5.00...
800 points for full ship kit that costs £8.00 now becomes 16,000 Arx .. Aka still £8.00...
200 points for ship single paint glow paint job for £2.00 now becomes 4000 Arx , still £2.00...
So £25.00 that got 2500 points now gets 50.000 Arx...

?? Before this update, I did not received anything and I was playing normally. How can change your gaming habits that you receive (or receive not) 400 of something per week ?
