Notice ARX and Frontier Points Conversion

£10 currently gets you 1000 FP on XBox, with the conversion rate, that's 20,000 Arx.
But £10 only gets you 16,800 Arx?

Okay, so what's happening to prices, because if they stay the same relative to current FP costs at the same conversion ratio, that's effectively a price increase.
They'd need to be changing from FP to Arx at a significantly different rate for new Arx purchases to get you the same value for money.
Based on the prices, at the lowest it's 12.5 per cent while at the highest cost deal it's 16.66, so at 20 to 1 conversion that's actually a bonus

Frontier points are .60 and .67 points per cent. based on the 300 and 2500 point packs.

My gaming habits changed a while ago due to all of the existing bugs (i.e., random crashes, multicrew, invincible goid hearts, instance desync, etc...) and general repetitiveness of the game, and have cause me to grow bored and even frustrated (out of love) for Elite.

OK, I can understand this perfectly. Feel free to quit playing (like I did for almost three years).

But how is all this related to some minor changes in the system of buying cosmetic upgrades in game shop ?

[*]Prices for PC ARX packs (below) are as follows:
  • 5000 ARX - 2.99 GBP / 3.49 EUR / 3.99 USD
  • 8400 (+420 bonus) ARX - 4.99 GBP / 5.99 EUR / 6.99 USD
  • 16,800 (+900 bonus) ARX - 9.99 GBP / 10.99 EUR / 12.99 USD
  • 25,500 (+1,300 bonus) ARX - 14.99 GBP / 15.99 EUR / 18.99 USD
  • 51,000 (+3,000 bonus) ARX - 29.99 GBP / 32.99 EUR / 39.99 USD
  • 85,000 (+15,000 bonus) ARX - 49.99 GBP / 54.99 EUR / 59.99 USD

Hang on, the price to arx ratios are really weird here.
Arx per pound values of the packs:
5k pack: 1672 arx per £
8.4k pack: 1683 with bonus, 1563 without
16.8k pack: 1681 with bonus, 1591 without
25.5k pack: 1701 with bonus, 1614 without
51k pack: 1700 with bonus, 1600 without
85k pack: 1700 with bonus, 1400 without

So the moment these bonuses get cancelled or anything, the best value per money is the 5k pack?

Incentive to play the game is lacking. Overall, I see a run on my wallet being prioritized over fixing major issues.

1 and 1/2 year playing ,and 1o 2 issues after updates, nothing more...can be your pc?

Thats PC pricing NOT console... both consoles system prices will be different than PC...
Yeah but generally value on console is worse than on PC because of a platform holder cut, but this listed conversion ratio is ALREADY 16% worse than the current XBox pricing, so unless actual store prices are gonna be WAY cheaper than the 1:20 conversion ratio for FP to Arx, then the new prices for buying Arx would be pretty bad value for money, and stocking up on FP before the switch would be a far smarter bet.

OK, can me explain where is some run on your (or mine) wallet ? Those things in shop are only cosmetic and you really do not need to buy them. I never bought anything in the online shop and I am normally playing the ED since beginning.
You're right about there being no need to buy cosmetics. I chose to buy them because I wanted to support the game. I want Elite to be good. I see the potential of it.

Meanwhile if we XBoxers buy FP right now, then when the conversion happens, we get 2000 Arx per £

We badly need to know what stuff is actually going to cost in Arx and how it's going to compare to the prices we currently pay.
Will an engine or weapon colour which currently costs 100FP (Roughly £1) on XBox, and £1 on PC now cost 1650-1700Arx? Will it cost more? Less?

OK, I understand this. For the same reason, I bought the Lifetime Pass, couple of months before Horizons was released.

Now, you can do the same and as a bonus, I will receive some "points" just for playing. It is win-win situation. Or not ?
