You can use either an enforcer cannon or force shell to bring them to a stop, so it’s feasible with any ship that has enough hard points. For example an eagle with 1 cytoscramblers, one enforcer/force shell cannon and 1 seeker missile launcher to disable thrusters would be more than capable.I would love to see a module to stop ships when they are drifting into.the void. Right now one needs a med/large ship to bump stop

I think there are quite a few variables involved, including the economic state, so I tend to find crappy commidities when it's not in boom. Having said that, your mix of commodities looks new to me as well, as I don't think I have ever found gold/painite/platinum before - it does indeed seem to imply a server side stealth update ... I will test it asap.I did a short run yesterday, after several weeks of other activities. I managed to get:
- some gold
- some painite
- some platinum
- some bertrandite
- some bauxite
Up to several weeks ago it was always "LTDs or crap" for me. Has smth changed since then? That's the variety I've always wanted to see!
Indeed ..Another session:
Nothing not-cheap this time but still, the variety looks very promising.
- samarium
- tritium
- uraninite
- rutile
- gallite

But those RNG drop tables (if that's what they were) appear to be better, pity I can't test it right now.Yep seconded need system and states in effect as wrong states and LTD is replaced with RNG drop tables...
Industrial in boom (and boom only) state. Can you specify what systems you were in, state, economy, etc..?
Can the population decrease enough to the point were the LTD ships dont bother going to a system..But those RNG drop tables (if that's what they were) appear to be better, pity I can't test it right now.
oof. Found the system on Inara. Can the population decrease enough to the point were the LTD ships dont bother going to a system..
The higher the population the higher the ship spawn rate with LTD so if the population were to decrease it could hit a different supply table in reverse so get different items... but that would mean fdev have been doing silent updates to the population numbers which would be wierd..
My system just gone into war today so ships spawn rate is unconfirmed at that state... before it did I was still getting LTD delivery ships at station...
300+ T9 today...

Yep, those private couriers are usually elite level and requires an engineered ship plus some skill to rob. I would pitch them at 100m in value, rather than the current 10m if your lucky, which would still equate to less than 100m per hour. So, as cool as the work finding targets carrying LTDs and the like is.... it kinda highlights even more how broken things are still.
Specifically, FD introduced the military/ private courier spawns to be the "high value" transports... but instead they're pretty much ignored in favour of hunting mineral haulers, which are just general spawns really.
Again, not faulting what people are doing now... but it just highlights how out of touch the design is here with what's considered "high value", and instead are ignored in favour of are "happy accidents" of the game design, much like what happened with delivery missions after the first rebalance.
