You probably scanned the individual planets though right? There's another bug that actually reduced the credits you get if you do that... :( Try doing just a Discovery scan and selling that before doing anything else.

It didn't make any difference if I did or didn't do a detailed surface scan. Paltry rewards for either or both.

Noob here. Where can I file a bug ticket? Link please?
Thanks

When you start the launcher. Click the tab technical support.
A page open in your browser. Login. then create a new ticket. A pop up window will occur that tell you about known bugs. Click anywhere outside of it to close it and create your ticket :)

When beta 2.05 landed my install of the game became very lumpy to the extent that it was unplayable. So I stopped playing intent on starting again when 2.06 arrived as those issues were well documented on these boards.

I just downloaded 2.06 eager to get going again, but the lumpiness is worse now and the game completely unplayable.

Its like I have a frame rate of over 2 seconds, the steam in the parking bay has no smoothness and I have to clock the icons a couple of time to get them to work. The launch menu takes over a second to do anything and when it does the highlight suddenly flicks up and down very fast.

I haven't even bothered taking off as the ship would be uncontrollable.

So it wait for Beta 2.07 to see if any of this is fixed.

I have a Titan in my system, and until I lowered the gamma quite a bit, everything looked just as washed out as all you guys complaining about a graphics bug. Have you tried reducing the gamma? What happens when you do? I mean, in the screenshots of the problem, I can see the shadows and everything so maybe it's all just too bright?

No, it's not a problem with the client gamma setting. That was the first thing I tried back when Beta 2.0 rolled out, and all it does is darken the screen overall and increase the contrast.

If you look at the second screenshot I posted up-thread, there are obviously some missing textures and/or shader effects that should be there. Compare my view of the outpost with any of the others posted where the bug isn't happening. In my screenshot, it looks like the model is half-baked in a 3D modeling program, without the final texture and lighting effects. Another key indicator is looking down at the pilot's joystick in-game, where the top of the stick is a flat gray surface instead of the normal texture that should be there.

And BTW, I know this is *only* a graphics bug and connection/stability issues are more important. It's just frustrating to know there have been two updates since they announced they discovered the fix and no change. I didn't spend much time in the game over the weekend because it's not much fun looking at the screen since Beta 2. It doesn't help with beta feedback when people don't feel like playing the game.

Edit to add: Going in and out of the Galaxy Map doesn't change anything on my system.

Oh well, was too much to hope that they would fix the bulletin board in v2.06 - I still crash out if the station has any missions, and only stays running if it's empty.

Gamma bug still not fixed.
Still having to goto the galaxy map and back to main screen to fix it,but only now the galaxy map takes longer to kick in,where it was instance before.

Ok, so I now don't get a CTD when I enter hyperspace. I'm now getting a crash to black screen when leaving hyperspace (open play only).

Hey, it's progress of a sort ;)

Keep at it guys, we'll get there eventually. And thanks for the great work so far

First time I see this problem ^^ :

That just happened to me too! I was waiting for that platform to be free for my Lakon 6, and suddenly this pesky Sidey hyperspaced out right onto that platform, and descended into the station. :p Ticket sent.

The graphics bug seems to be related to camera volumes (I get it when I move too far from my initial position with the Oculus rift).

Can you guys try to reduce your field of view a bit? It seems like in the screenshots it's always completely maxed out, and/or the screens don't seem to be 16:9 screens.
No joy for me and my EVGA 560Ti (superclocked if it makes any difference).

Tried adjusting the FOV, gamma, etc, and the results are the same. I see the expected shadows for a brief moment, then everything goes near full-bright.

I can post a vid up on YT if interested.

Still can't use the "sell all data" button in cartography, it does nothing

Has this one been ticketed by anyone? I've noticed the bug but as yet haven't reported it, but before I do, I wanted to check it hadn't already been ticketed 10,000 times.

2.06 is bugged

the missions are crossing over again, ive got the old mission data in different star system, but old goods in cargo which have already been delivered in previous star system. now im screwed cos I have to get rid of it and abandon the mission. I give up.

It's now been over 3 days since I've been able to log in. All I get is the spinning sidewinder. I have tried client reinstalls, clearing saves, restarts, tickets. I have heard nothing from frontier. I know this is beta, but this is really not cool.

Evening team

2.06 broke my game sadly, I'm getting a stutter ever 5 seconds for half a second or so. Its also turning my keyboard and optical mouse on and off (blinking mouse light). Its not the frame rate, that's still 50-60 fps

I'm in solo mode.

Logged a ticket. First time it's happened this badly for me. only the odd stutter in SC which crept in from beta 2 onwards for me.

Unplayable for me at the moment I'm afraid.

Graphics shader bug on my GTX 560ti is still there. It's been looking like this since Beta 2.0, I thought it was fixed and ready to roll into an update?

Sure would like to see what these new outposts are supposed to look like with correct lighting, instead of this:

Someone at ED needs to run the game with this BUG happening 24/7, its unplayable, its like playing Descent in the 90s, I dont think anyone experiencing this could stand testing the game for too long, I certainly cant...

I had a ticket logged for the in station stutter after selecting a destination, the ticket has been closed as a known issue.

Since 2.06 the stutter is now also happening even if I wait until I'm well outside the station before selecting a destination. Should I create a new ticket?

Couple of issues today:

Got stuck in hyperspace. Had to end task the client and go back in. Ended up in previous system I was in. Jumped again no issue, frameshifted to Freeport but now I cannot get docking permission.

Same thing has just happened to me!

I ticketed this a while ago, as have many players. It's a known issue, so probably best to not re-ticket it.
