Any chance of this becoming a serious FAQ?
Q) how do I operate the DSS probe laucher?
A) bindings to move the targetting reticle for the probe launcher can be found under the multi-crew gunner role options
Q) I can use the bindings under "Controls > Full Spectrum System Scanner" to enter FSS mode but when I exit FSS mode I'm stuck in analysis HUD mode (with the square firegroup brackets rather than the usual curved ones)
A) You need to bind "Switch HUD mode" under "Controls > Mode Switches" (the problem is that entering FSS mode automatically puts you in analysis mode but exiting FSS mode does not take you back out again)

I still don't know why you'd need to add this to the FAQ:
"You can also reset your CMDR, sometimes Beta resets will set extra money/other things so you can get back to testing - check details in the beta before resetting!"
I mean what idiot wouldn't check before clearing save?
Right off to test. Load up secondary Cmdr and Clear save. Load in a new Sidewinder and check to see if the out fitting prices have been dropped.

Why are there still 3 different types of Scanner? Basic, intermediate and Advan......oh...oh dear..........oh dear oh dear oh dear......
