Agreed on both points. Plus the autocannon deployment animation also looks gimmicky. Landing pad movement speed should maybe be dialed down a little bit, or at least have a bit more of a ramped acceleration to it. Right now it does feel like the player would be smacked against the windshield.

+1 agreed...thought the same myself on both points. For larger ships the landing pad movement should be slower again proportionally.

Just want to say I am seriously impressed with how quick the ED team are pushing out patches, keep up the great work!

Agreed, especially on the autocannon animation.

Pilot since the beta release, and I must say I am very impressed and immersed with the Elite Dangerous experience right now, not to mention the hard work the developers have put into it to make the current beta surprisingly stable. So far I only had 2 game crashes, once opening the galaxy map and once when entering the jump-drive animation, but those two instances didn't repeat. Apart from that I didn't experience any kind of bug, may it be mission related, combat, piloting, hud/interface based.... nada.

So wow, a round of applause for the Frontier's, and a mega boost of confidence in this product for all the backers, there lies a great future ahead for this universe.

Also getting fps drops / stuttering near stations, didn't have that issue before 1.02 specially at dahan

Same here. Only tried Thursday night and it started appearing after an hour or so. It became unflyable after another hour. Will try again later today.
Was in the Opala region by the way, not at all in Dahan so it's not the location.
