where is the "auto-eject" ships into space if they block an outposts sole medium landing pad for more then 30 minutes ?

should go well with the notority decay
 
Neat fixes. However, still nothing related to the Thargoid missions? Also, losing 1 notoriety per hour seems pretty quick.

But I still think it would be a good idea to make it something you can turn on and off. Because the community seems very divided about this. And I do understand people who would like the zero setting.

Now, @FD, if you could kindly explain what the following two lines mean so that I can stop obsessing over it...

- Consolidated lawless security state in to anarchy security state
- Anarchy states now show anarchy security level

What exactly is an "Anarchy Security Level?" Like Anarchies now get None/Low/Med/High? How/what has changed here?

Or does it just mean that there no longer is "Lawless", there is only "Anarchy", and the Security state in "Anarchy" is always "Anarchy"?
 
LOL, I even predicted it when they fixed the night side. Everyone loved it and I immediately predicted they would probably screw it up at the end. Again. Can someone from FD explain why you guys keep doing night sides properly in beta and then just jank it out again just before going live, regardless of how many people say it should stay that way? Is this going to be a thing with 3.1 too, some kind of insider-joke? Honestly it confuses me a bit...

Its tied-in with IF change I suspect, so its more a change in naming things. Will test it in a minute.

Booo! That flat 60 point shield increase was awesome for smaller shield generators.

Regarding the dark side of planets - possible temporary fixes until FDEV get their act together:

Sunglasses whist planetside?

Turn down monitor brightness?

or for the hard core:

Turn off Monitor? :)
 
Ideally I'd love for dark sides of planets to remain dark, and we would get a toggle for a night vision mode in our helmets, something we could toggle on and off. Best of both worlds.
Great idea. The nigh vision should have the blue monochromatic vision like night goggles. :)

Dear FDev ,

Please can you extend the beta to include the weekend, some players have work and family commitments, and two days might not be enough to test the patch .

So far I haven’t come across any deal breakers other than the diminishing notoriety, this will allow griefers to murder lots of Cmdrs and simply go to bed then come back on the day after with a much reduced penalty ( if I’ve understood it right )

So now we have High/Med/Low/Anarchy. I was hoping that this change would mean that unpopulated systems would have a security level of 'None' but unfortunately not (I appreciate that technically they are anarchies, but just to make searching easier in the galmap). Also, unpopulated systems with a security level of Anarchy in the galaxy map filter are showing as 'Low' on the system map, which I assume is not intended.
 
So someone griefs a dozen CMDRs over the course of a joy filled day, and the carefully considered/planned penalty is.... they have to dock at a station and go to bed for the night (just leaving their PC on)... Next morning they're back to 0 notoriety?

Hours should be days surely?

Lt. Saavik, imagine 10 days of Noteriety 10, then imagine the clean saves. :)

I'd love it while exploring, especially since I've now got better at FA-off stuff and the button I did have set to hard-reverse (which zeroed the throttle in supercruise) is now bound to the FA toggle, and I'm out of controller buttons for a separate throttle-zero.
