I would make people aware that from our point of view, there are a number of us who have been playing this BGS game since January/February without any real understanding of why our enemies have taken this crusade upon themselves. That's going to lead to a degree of frustration. Anyone getting into this recently, as SPEAR have probably need to recognise that views will be fairly polarised at this point. That said, we would love to have some genuine engagement and discussions, but comments of "I would have, but..." are not going to be taken as serious. Anyone actually willing to talk would have done.Gentlemen,

A genuine willingness to discuss this would be welcome, however this is very rarely successful when the opening gambit starts with accusations. We have tried many times over the last 8/9 months, so the ball is in the opposition's court on that front. Credit is due to Lekeno to even having a conversation with us on any level however. Perhaps this is a sign that things are moving forwards

Yeah same, I don't get the PvP players in this game. One side ganks new players "for lulz", the other side tries to gank the gankers for ganking new players and they all gank each other in organised fights and all hate each other. Seems like a poor way to be having fun. I love everything about this game except PvP...oh and passengers. The only time I'll do passengers is for the BGS and I still hate it.

It seems to me that there are a number of points of views here. The colonia factions on AAAs side. Spear. Reapers, the neutrals who have chosen to fight for either side, whoever else is involved. It's not just polarised. It's multi-polar, so any negotiation is going to be complicated and difficult. One thing is for sure though, if either side actually REALLY wants to negotiate, that's only going to come by respecting other peoples points of view and being willing to make concessions. Admitting where you did wrong and atoning for it, getting the other side to do the same. That's how peace is made.

1) There isn't one side in this conflict ganking new players and the other one is lawful. This is simply not true and the main reason this all got so heated.
It's a personal vendetta against @Phisto Sobanii because he called out SPEAR on their own hypocrisy. Enough videos out there where SPEAR ganks clean players because
in their head they somehow deserved it. Contrary to all game rules. And many others from our squadron got drawn into this because of SPEARs collective guilt policy.
2) It's no more fun if people follow you around, attacking you repeatedly and target you specifically. It's very close to harassment, closer then some occasional ganking by far.
Again, we called out SPEAR on that hypocrisy and this made them jump several carriers into our home, 22k LY, using every dirty trick in the BGS against us, including racking up bounties and shooting themselves up for that - specifically without using their famed EDRecon to not appear as ganker... Sorry, but that our side gets heated by this is no surprise.

What I am seeing in BigMaecs post there is a lot of emotive language. Fair enough, you're upset, but you're levelling some pretty big accusations at SPEAR there which I would not be suprised if that makes them equally upset.

Then you can't really expect people to negotiate with you in good faith Phisto. I'm a chef mate. I know exactly what you are trying to say there, but it does not apply here because when you are in the kitchen and have a problem, you settle it calmly, away from the kitchen sitting at a table with a beer. You don't settle it in the kitchen because that's how people get stabbed.

After that rhetorical tanning here and elsewhere SPEAR was in Carcosa specifically calling me out.
The facts are obvious. Their entire campaign arose from me and others speaking their minds without fear.
There is no other reasonable conclusion.
