Can we please fix the federal dropship.

Someone once calculated the density of an Anaconda, turns out it was similar to expanded polystyrene.
They forgot to include the fact that the thing they're measuring was a fairly hollow box. The USN's new aircraft carriers are about as dense as cardboard using those same calculations, dispite displacing around 100k tons.

That doesn't mean the Anaconda couldn't gain a hundred (or two) more tons of base hull mass.

I love the Dropship.
It has character, is a very stable Plasma platform and I love it when I occasionally win with it against a FdL (happens not often tho).
My only gripe with it is, why the hell isn't it used as a Dropship in Odyssey? That's nuts. Nothing against the Vulture, but that one is a heavy fighter,
the Dropship is - well - a Dropship 🤷‍♂️

Probably because if the Dropship was a dropship, then they'd have to make one of the Alliance ships fulfill that role for Alliance (obvs) and maybe independent factions, which would be simple enough. However, then they'd have to look at making a medium pad Imperial ship as an equivalent.

Yeah, and the Vulture totally isn't a Federation ship
