Capital Starports of Summit Delegates Attacked!

So who is the enemy? I don't believe the NMLA has the manpower to do this.
In a universe where millions die of hunger each day, where corporations abandon or even bomb miners in mining colonies rather than evacuate them after mine is depleted to save on costs, where entire planets are labeled plague-worlds and left to die, where populations are mind-controlled, there are plenty of people ready to sacrifice themselves for a slim chance of making difference.

(Following recent mysteries and Theta story, there is chance that NMLA exists but some power is also doing things and masks itself after NMLA, idk how devs go with it, seems they went with cliche way)

Like any honourable Imperial, I rushed to Achenar, loaded my Clipper with passenger cabins, and began the humane evacuation of the trapped souls within the ruins.
Stations are really beautiful when they're on fire.

These things would be more worthwhile and interesting if the stations were permanently destroyed in many of these "events" and were eventually replaced with a debris field with some large skeletal pieces left. No longer a place to navigate to etc. Previous docked cmdr's would find themselves relocated to another nearby station if they didn't get out in time. The loss of the station impacting the population of the system and faction control etc with even the potential for becoming un-inhabited / dropping out of powerplay/bgs.

...came out of hyperspace into some asteroid field, some kind of asteroid collision.
What do you mean? Where's the station?
That's what I'm trying to tell ya, kid. It's been totally blown away.
Destroyed by the Thargoids.
That's impossible. It would take thousands of ships with more firepower than I've ever ....
