Their membership of the Pilot's Federation lapsed, so they don't have to install the permit-enforcement module on their ships any more.Makes you wonder how the crickets got in there. Cheating lot they are, all of em.

They attacked Dawes Hub? Those s. Guess I'll be heading there soon once I had a pitstop in my homeport of Burojinura to refit it with passenger cabins and heatsinks.Ooof - Achenar will be fun to repair - long SC and no FCs (Permit locked)
Yeah, the SC distances are tiny in comparison. 20k is above what I would usually take for missions etc. Also: Sol and Alioth are permit-locked as well, so: no fleet carriers to support those repairs either.
They might have been written by the same person, yes.I wonder if its to do with the other GALNET article about the Adamaster and Hesperus?
That's not the biggest problem in Sol and Alioth. Load fleet carriers with the difficult to get stuff and jump close to Sol and Alioth, unload with one jump and small supercruise. They attacked Dawes Hub? Those s. Not as bad as ferrying beryllium from the bubble to the Pleiades at least. That was death.Ooof - Achenar will be fun to repair - long SC and no FCs (Permit locked)
<cough> remember the Witch Head ....Not as bad as ferrying beryllium from the bubble to the Pleiades at least. That was death.
Pre-Fleet Carriers for sure. After Fleet Carriers it became a cakewalk. Not as bad as ferrying beryllium from the bubble to the Pleiades at least. That was death.
More beryllium... MORE BERYLLIUM!!!<cough> remember the Witch Head ....
OMG, those endless jumps in my T7. Memories. Not as bad as ferrying beryllium from the bubble to the Pleiades at least. That was death.
Imagine being a starry-eyed noob right now who just left the baby bubble, wanted to give PP a go, and chose a capital system starport that got attacked as his/her new home.
I don't know what's sadder. The fact their new home is on fire, or they haven't found out PP sucks yet.
Double whammy.
I believe Galnet is very clear in this case:
"There have been no reports of Thargoid activity for the past few days"![]()
Awaiting GalNet to call the attack fake news and everyone should go about their day as normal. It's a concern how Galnet is reporting if it does turn out to be a human attack. Thargoids are enough of a threat, the last thing rescue ships need is terrorists using Thargoids to cover their escape and AX loadouts getting in the way of rescue Ops.
Second time this has happened? Good thing people are alive to potential misdirectis but Galnet needs to get ahead of forensics if it wants to stay a trusted news source imo. They might need to do an internal security sweep on their staff's political sympathies!

Achenar on the other hand... 20k ls supercruise. Guess it will be repaired last. And Lave first![]()
The only reason the Galnet article is written in the way it is, will be to avoid a repeat of the result of AX pilots jumping to conclusions that got all rather ugly last time. It's a concern how Galnet is reporting if it does turn out to be a human attack.
