I agree.
I lost quite some faith in Fdev and can't be as excited about the Q4 update as some others up until now but name calling is disrespectful and unnecessary.
Just as calling them or others liars, incompetent, etc.
Right that's all 48 pages. My thoughts:
- Congrats to those that got invited, I hope you had a good time
- What information has been shared does sound interesting, I am most interested in the codex as that sounds as if it is not just rebadged achievements as some have claimed it will be
- Would have liked to hear something beyond Beyond but I guess that is asking for too much
- People will be salty about what they don't or being invited. Frontier have their communications policy and agree with it or not (and I don't) they're not going to change despite any pleading
- I am available for the next round of invites (I can pay my own travel and accommodation)

Goal was to invite people and show them stuff.
Rest of us we will see stuff in two weeks.

Personally, although I see this as mainly a publicity and marketing event- I'm excited for those who got the opportunity!
I wouldn't have been able to accept an invitation, even if I had been chosen- I'm not at all "jealous" that others did. (life's responsibilities...) In fact, I'm quite relieved and happy for those who did, and think it's a good move by Frontier.
Testing reactions for newly proposed upcoming features is a good thing, and "preview events" are nothing new, movie screenings and such happen all the time and it's an excellent means of judging reaction. Although the NDA prohibits disclosure of details, I'm actually excited to see what Frontier has cooked up considering the overall positive reactions from those who attended.

Expecting forums - well frequent posters - to be excited about anything is lost cause at this time and age my friend. That's really not a worthy barometer for well, anything.
