No more of them after this one - bug fixes you asked for, so that's what you get.
Sorry bout that...Forgot the words "NEW" and "MAJOR" in my post. My fault. To be honest, I'm quite satisfied with the Interstellar Initiatives as a way to keep me playing the game. That's new content as far as I'm concerned. I was wondering what the definition of 'long standing isues' actually meant, I.e. If it was just bug fixes or if they were going to make small passes at underused parts of the game.
tell me which part talks about doing more IIs? Or anything other than bugs.Seriously Did I miss confirmation of that in the OP? I thought they weren't mentioned?
From now and into next year (2020), the updates will focus almost exclusively on addressing recent and longstanding issues

No problems, I knew were weren't getting any MAJOR content, that's the 2020 update / fleet carriers. But small things (like maybe a racing course based on the new player training course) would be nice.Sorry bout that...Forgot the words "NEW" and "MAJOR" in my post. My fault.![]()
As you well know II's don't form part of Updates.tell me which part talks about doing more IIs? Or anything other than bugs.
Just wanted to give a quick shout out for last night's Lave Radio discussion on all this. From what I've heard so far (and I'm less than half way through) it's a good dicsussion which covers a lot of salient points in a pretty well balanced and thoughtful manner. Recommended listening ...

P.S. yes - of course - the opinions of four people on a radio podcast are no more or less valid than anyone else's - I'm not saying everyone should agree with them, just that it's a good discussion worth listening to (and that, being a spoken discussion, it's a bit more rounded than a written to-and-fro of opinions and counter opinions on a forum thread).

This is the hilarious thing about this whole situation - people ask fdev to look at the bugs - and then immediately start asking for new stuff (racing tracks) and stuff they were planning before the change (II). Hopefully they'll tell us at some point what they do plan to do, I might be being too pessimisticNo problems, I knew were weren't getting any MAJOR content, that's the 2020 update / fleet carriers. The last II was good, actually got me to go & get Guardian blueprints for A/X weapons & go shoot a few Thargoids - me? doing pewpewTo be honest, I'm quite satisfied with the Interstellar Initiatives as a way to keep me playing the game. careful you will make his block list for having a differing opinionAll they have delivered is a broken mess. Every single update things get broken. It's pretty hard to enjoy.
I don't think so, because they're already implemented. NEW content is another story though.Does this also mean things like further Interstellar Initiatives are on hold as well? If so, will we see more player CGs?

Got a link to where those figures come from? I'd be quite interested to read that.More than 18 testers, more than 90 programmers. And to this day the game is still broken. Elite has never been a priority for Frontier, nor will it ever be. Dinosaurs and theme parks are. We're just the scraps.
