Everyone seems to equate "stones" with the planets, but to me "He keeps watching the stones" sounds like someone sitting in a ship watching a ring rotating.

I would also posit to check any and all asteroid belts. They seem to be the red headed stepchild (no offense, I’m a ginger myself) of mining and I’m gonna bet if FDev wanted to hide something in the Coalsack nebula, they’d put it in one of those.

UPD.: It's the Crux constellation, slightly twisted because of the different pov, but still visible since Lawd 26 is close to the Sol.

What are we looking for? Im just flying up to random HMCs and trying to get the eclipse effect, as well as mapping, Im not sure what Im looking for. Its Raxxla all over again.

I've no idea really. I like the thread and puzzle. But if truth be told, I was hoping someone would ask why they can't find the ball-sack nebula in the galaxy map. Either that, or they would post here asking what it is near to...

Are we looking in the right area? What about the other similarly named place, the ball-sack nebula?

With dozens of carriers impacting the area, this might not exactly be the best idea. That would be more a mission for a solo explorer.
