Game Discussions Cyberpunk 2077 - official gameplay

I looked under the spoiler. I does sound like another chapter for another lifetime. Vanilla story still is untouched I assume? With the early mission you do with the buddy?

Yes it's all the same, HOWEVER you can get a new ending, and i will not spoil it for you, but I was almost crying, yeah I'm getting old and mushy, my wife was like are you crying dear, me; NO NO NO NO it's those darn flowers blowing nose and looking away.

Psh, we all do it. We just don't admit it to the women because we can't stand the gloating.

I'm starting a new play though there was so many side quest i didn't do i need to take it slow.
Sometimes taking another direction when the game starts makes for a different excperience. True for Skyrim, and partly true for CP. I found places I never discovered before. Climbed walls I never considered before. The city appears a bit different each time.

yes true, there are so many placed in the city I haven't been so interesting to get back again with a fresh V, I know what ending I would like but what happens in between i really don't know.

As in most open world games it is advisable to seek vantage points. Visit them at different times in daytime and date. Story can have you meet a K-Pop band. You can see huge light ads hovering over the city from the wasteland. No idea if it nightime related or relies on story progress - or both? Different perspectives of the same thing - that's important. Remember in the days of yore when we explored Skara Brae - upside and underside. Two worlds of the same thing.

Skara Brae? Can never remember exploring that in a game...as much as I've explored the real thing a few times...it's over on Mainland (the main island).

This looks like a level of "The Talos Principle" which I'm currently playing the sequel of it. After I'm finished with that I'll start Phantiom Liberty.

The graphics were considerably worse in Bard's Tale...

Only being able to move at right angels also made navigation difficult.

I like a lot of old games, but even as a kid I found these kinds of RPGs frustrating and preferred top down/isometric views until at least the Ultima Underworld days.

What was your rep with Johnny during the cutscene? If its high it hits hard in the feels, if its low, even more.

Heathen. It was the first step to 1st person 3D.

I was 85% but that was not it, it's your connection to V and how it ends, I can't get more into it without exposing the ending.
If you have low rep with Johnny, the tone is very different, at least for the first segment. But yes, what Johnny says makes me regret cutting onions with my mantis blades.

LMAO, yeah but it was not what Johnny said per se, you have to play and see the ending then you will understand.

In some ways yes, but on low rep Johnny and you part in a very bitter way compared to Johnny being OK with you getting rid of him. The rest (2yr gap, friends blanking you, returning to the crowd) is the same. And depending on how you look at it, the ending has good as well as bad sides to it given the heavy hints at Blackwall and through the game via Blackhand (as well as CP lore re Bioware v cyberware).

yes that is all true, however and this we don't need to hide because that's known, to me the two best endings are the Sun ending, where V take the last big job no one can do, and it ends with a cliffhanger, or leaving with Panam, to me they are the only endings i like for my V.

Now adding the new ending the emotions are getting on a roller-coaster from a story telling point of view, and yes the conversation you have with Johnny is also sad, but!! it's what comes after that, so I'm got to describe it in the spoiler and you can the choose not to look.

You loose everything in the new ending but you survive, as a normal NPC, you're now weak and can never become what you were, all your friends are gone and you're only a shadow of what you were, no Johnny, no Panam or Judy no fame no respect, and when you watch the ending cut scene it's just so freaking sad.
