Typically they just pull you over to share the good news about their lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
You mean, the ED version of Jehova's Witnesses, only they use PAs and rail guns instead of their pamphlets...?
Typically they just pull you over to share the good news about their lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
Now don't go and be saying things like that... the next thing you know, people will be asking FDev for wet paper bag guns.the last guy couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
I think it is just extremist 'no engineer' activists. I dont endorse the means but definitely the cause.
Easy fix.
You can go there in solo, land, then switch to open and block anyone in the vicinity wearing clown make up in an FDL or a Mamba.
I much prefer a bit of back story rather than just interdict/shoot from the hip. It's also interesting how there's always a "cause" other than the obvious for these griefankers to kill new players. If new players wanted to go to look at a visitor beacon, there would these griefankers be calling themselves "anti-visitor beacon activists" just to shoot the new players.
I heard that in Colonia there are no gankers around the engineers' bases. Just sayin'...Good for you, OP.
Elivra Martuuk is a good alternative to Farseer for new players. Got the sweet FSD, shield generator, and drive upgrades plus significantly lower Commander traffic. Also gets you on the path to the glorious Dr. Palin.
Afterward you can hit up the rest of the opening engineers and head to Deciat much better prepared.

Living in the countryside is healthier for everyone, not just for explorers. Scientific fact. For explorers that may not be a bad idea. Get to Martuuk, G5 that FSD, grab thte Guardian stuff if you want, then head on out to the frontier.
It's Morons not Mormons! DohTypically they just pull you over to share the good news about their lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
It's part of the cover. Blend in. Mingle with the crowd. Then strike from within.I wouldn't have thought such people would present much of a threat.... since, presumably, they won't be flying engineered ships, right?
What's interesting about that (and I agree with you) is that the narrative about "it's a huge galaxy, it's dangerous out there" really should say "It's a huge galaxy, so why are you here where it's dangerous?"Danger in one of the most frequented systems in the galaxy? Surely you can't be serious!
I don't think, Felicity Farseer would like to live there then. Also, the jerks don't deserve any explanation that makes them in any way part of the game.Just make it anarchy already. Then we can say, "Hey, dude. You're in their territory. What did you expect?" Then, when you say their, make it sound like you're talking about a group of real-life voodoo shamanses.
Is shaman already plural?
Just like hunting newbies in newbie spawn systems. Now they do it at engineering sites. Decait is the first for most newbies, as well as returning veterans.
It's completely out of hand now, so either fight your way there, or play in solo or PG.
If you run the plugin for EDMC "EDR" it does pop up wanted CMDRsThere should be a warning pop-up on entering Deciat in Open... Something like "Beware of the Teenage Mutant No-life Jerks".
