Dinosaurs Dinosaur Wishlist Mega Thread

I think variety small herbivores is what the game is currently lacking.

Small herbivore ideas pack:
1. dryosaurus (smallest iguanodon)
2. homalocephale (last necessary pachy)
3. Microceratops (small ceratopsian)
4. Minmi (smallest Ankylosaur)
5. Tethyshadros (smallest duckbill)
6. Magyarosaurus (smallest sauropod)
Possibly add if did JP93 Campaign DLC
Random pack:
1.Compy
2. hypsilophodon
3. Segisasaurus

Desert pack:
1. Oviraptor
2. Protoceratops
3. Therizinosauria

Clare sanctuary DLC opened up new opportunities for Frontier to make advancements into the game, look forward to seeing them!

Further ideas (aquatic & flying don’t seem realistic at this point):
-more decorations like Hammond statue
  • more velociraptor skins
  • river boat tour
  • jp93 scenery
  • movie theatre or another building (meets all the needs of guest in one food, drink, fun, & shopping).
  • always liked balloon ride
  • Jurassic tour skins

IT would be awesome in this DLC if they would include a new type decorations to include into Jurassic world evolution into a DLC for you're park such as Statues, benches, placing trash cans on your paths , resting areas for your guest when walking too long.

I think it's great to have all dinosaur suggestions in one place. Makes things easier to find.

There are definitely a number of dinosaurs I'd like to see in the game.
Personally I like to label dinosaurs with some colours as to identify if they've appeared or mentioned in the books, films or games at all.
I use green for the books, orange for the games and light blue for the films. This way it's much easier to quickly see which dinosaur is already canon or not.
Dinosaurs I'd like to see in the game (not in any specific order):

Theropods
Teratophoneus
Gorgosaurus or Albertosaurus ADDED
Torvosaurus
Mononykus

Ornithopods
Shantungosaurus
Telmatosaurus
Tethyshadros
Amurosaurus
Saurolophus
Magnapaulia
Ouranosaurus ADDED
Dryosaurus

Ceratopsians
Pachyrhinosaurus
Psittacosaurus
Protoceratops

Sauropodomorphs
Plateosaurus
Massospondylus
Shunosaurus

Misc.
Herrerasaurus ADDED
I agree with everything you put on this list.🙂

Oh another thing I would like to see is more Triassic Dinosaurs - we only have the Herrersaurus and I want to make a sort of 3 way split on the island - have a portion for Cretacious, a portion for Jurassic and then a Triassic area - but bit difficult to do with only 1 dinosaur.

Mosasaurus to add something really new to the game
and maybe small dinos like compsognathus

I figured that a water DLC pack will cover this some time in the future. I have ideas on how they would do it but tricky with the current sandbox having issues with simple terrain tools like sand unable to be added to because it crashes the game I think they need a redesign of the Isla Nublar island.

Well, honestly I don't know as many dinosaurs as some people here obviously do, but there is one dinosaur I'd definitely like to see:

Therizinosaurus. A large herbivore (?) with massive claws? Hell yeah!
Furthermore it was also used in the process of designing and making the I. rex, so there's also a solid reason why it should be part of the game.

For the herbivore DLC I really want to see...

1. Protoceratops - China.‭ ‬Mongolia

2. Pachyrhinosaurus - Alberta, Canada

3. Shantungosaurus - China‭ ‬-‭ ‬Shandong Peninsula‭ ‬-‭ ‬Wangshi Formation

how about hybrids like

137061

ankyntrosaurus hybrid between ankylosaurus and kentrosaurus

137062

dracoceratops hybid between dracorex and triceratops
137063

edmontoguanodon hybid between edmontosaurus and inguanodon
137068

nodopatosaurus hybrid between nodosaurus and apatosaurus
137069

paramoloch hybrid between parasaurolophus and stygimoloch

Dimetrodon (and how it could work)

Dimetrodon is not a dinosaur but a mammal-like reptile, and Jurassic World Evolution's current focus (as confirmed countless times by the developers) are the "land dinosaurs". However, despite not being a dinosaur itself, I can still see how Dimetrodon could still have potential to be in the game.

1. Firstly, it's a land based animal, so that's a starting point.
2. Secondly, it appeared as a diorama creature in Lockwood's mansion in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
3. Thirdly, it's a non-dinosaur animal that is often associated with dinosaurs themselves, like what you would see in toy sets or so fourth. It's one of the most recognizable prehistoric reptiles outside of pterosaurs and marine stuff to be seen as a contemporary of dinosaurs, or even referred to as such.

All three of those reasons are why I think it could be possible to be in the game. Besides, the InGen file for it and the tour voice over for the Jurassic Tour and Gyrosphere attractions can still state that it isn't a dinosaur at all, when it would be in other gaming terms for general consistency.

Appearance wise, it could use a similar design and as seen for the diorama specimen in the latest Jurassic World movie. It is, by the way, very Jurassic Park authentic when you look at it, perfect for a game like this. That sculpture for it is also a very good size for the game as well. You can view it from the website linked below.

I see it being classified as a small carnivore, which would mean it will be able to fight other small carnivores but not large carnivores, except the Indoraptor. The only question I have is, if it's going to be a small carnivores, would it and how could it be able to hunt medium herbivores (the hadrosaurs and iguanodonts) and fight the iguanodon?

ENGLISH DINOSAURS DLC IDEA

I mean Frontier is based in England so why not have more English dinosaur representation right? I mean England's top predators are not even present in Jurassic world evolution and well I think it's long overdue introduce certain Allosauroid that even IGUANODON feared. True we have Baryonyx, Polacanthus, Metriacanthosaurus, PROCERATOSAURUS, and the legendary Iguanodon. Even though we get a good number I still feel like the most famous dinosaurs from England are being left out as listed here.

If we have another Tyrannosaurid added at some point, the Teratophoneus would be a great addition. It's 23% smaller than the Albertosaurus, making a good size gap filler between Proceratosaurus and Albertosaurus, with distinctive physical traits like a deeper more robust skull, and it could have other features like the short bristle spines many paleoartists put on thoeropods.

And it's also canon to the Jurassic franchise. A Teratophoneus corpse can be seen outside of the old transmission station in Fallen Kingdom and a skeleton of one is inside the Lockwood manor. The physical prop made of it can be used as the base for a living version in Evolution.
