Disconnects: Could not connect to matchmaking server, Mauve Adder.

Update: the Devs marked it an invalid report, i.e. they are saying it's a router issue. It's not! The issue only happened after the last patch!

I'll contact support, but make sure in your bug reports you are clear that your internet connection is stable etc!

That´s really sad, but understandable from the players point of view.
The best solution would be to drastically decrease the prices for LTD and increase the Payout for other means of playing,
like bounty hunting, missions or exploring.
Why not linking Mission rewards to your Trading-Rank AND Reputation? Why not paying way more for killing Pirates in Hazardous Sites? Or CZ?
No, it has to be grinding ONE lousy rock, so that 50% of Players gather in exactly ONE Point in a galaxy of 400 Billion Systems.

Yes, nobody forces people to do this, but people tend to follow the "easiest" way to make money.

I'm sorry, but what you're saying makes no sense and is not helpful at all past informing everyone of your own personal views on LTD prices and mining. There are a lot of other threads covering that topic already, so I suggest you take opinion and post it there instead.

In this thread however, we're discussing a potential bug in the game for the PS4 console that probably needs to be addressed by fdev, and not changing a game mechanic to suit a style of play that suits you and other LTD price griefers/moaners.

It's not a router issue. I've had this happen in two places with two routers on two separate consoles, all devices having passed upload/download/connection diagnostics.

Terrible idea. We get it, you don't like mining.

I hope lying about the issue is their way of addressing it. Thousand of people are various systems and all of their routers stop them from playing one game. Poppycock!

Hard to tell, but it does happen in busy systems. I was doing fine until I jumped into a crowded system. Now I'm stuck there and can't get out. As you say, bit of a stretch to suddenly jump to the conclusion that a lot of people's perfectly functioning routers all of a sudden gave up at the same time - rather than the other obvious conclusion - it's a server side issue.

It seems to not only depend on how crowded a system is. I could mine in col 285 for days and hours, but it never happend there - and it is surely one of the most crowded systems.

That's the first place it occurred to me. And a quick google search without to rest silly claims it's a console only issue. Hell, all it's a CROSS PLATFORM game. We all share the same instances. It's clearly the fleet carriers creating the issue. To acknowledge that would embarrass Frontier. Unless they get out ahead of this, and take ownership.

Yeah, only PC players are not having this error, but PS ones do.

Tried it 5 minutes ago, still trapped in Areklici near the sun with 400t of LTD in the belly after mining half a day. Thanks FD, for not letting us take part in the good selling prices.

I eventually managed to get in and dock/sell so keep trying (there were 128 carriers in the system). I've not tried to do anything else as it does still kick me out after a while (just sitting in the station).

I'm still in the black and can't log in. Same thing over and over. It's happened in that system before but it was never so bad. The spike in LTD prices and carrier presence in sell/mine systems is no coincidence. Someone underdimensioned something for console players and boots us when server side can't handle the traffic.
