The Commander who signed up between the 6th and 7th of November, with a Federal Corvette named "Artorian", needs to PM me. For some reason the application has no Commander name and thus I can't validate it.

I’ll second, third and fourth VoiceAttack and the HCS voice packs for exploration.
I like to have Jazz and Astra chatting away, and remembering to feed the cat.

As a Rift user, i absolutely have to have VA. the singularity is brilliant, love having 6 characters come with me on my journeys (I have ASTRA, Leo, Cleo, Eden, Midnight, Charity and of course the ships cat). If you havent got VA then i would suggest you go get it even if you dont use VR. you dont have to spend money on the packs from HCS (but i recommend you do) as you can create your own.

I also play Flight Sim X and have created my own Co-Pilot voice commands with my son's voice for raising flaps, lower landing gear etc. you can use it for any game you want as long as that command you are saying has a button press in game then it will work.

I didn’t fancy being tied to the HCS voice pack conversations, so I bought the Ivona UK English Voice Amy from Deskshare for $30 USD; this is the same voice used in the ANNA example.

Doesnt look like I’ll be taking a Phantom, only 8 slots.
shame, was looking forward to a new exploration ship.
Wish they’d refit the AspX with a couple of extra slots...

I think I'll be taking the Phantom. It seems to be a very viable alternative (almost identical) to the Asp X.

Though the cockpit visibility is much better in the AspX. Just the other day had to go back to SD to change my Krait2 for my AspX due to the limited visibility.

scarab hangar
Hull repair limpet controller
Dss
Ads

I like to be reasonably self-sufficient. Was just hoping that FD would follow up a huge update to exploration with an improved exploration-dedicated ship. My ideal would be an AspX with 10 slots (fuel limpet controller); could be small slots-only want 3D limpet controllers, but a 4G hangar.

With the ADS becoming an internal module, that makes 8 slots, so there you go :)

Same. Really disappointed that the exploration and mining update has no new exploration and/or mining ships.
Utter let down.
Ctrl-c ctrl-v krait and another combat ship. Because we haven’t had any new combat ships recently.
Where is our alternative to the conda?

For 3.3 the ADS will no longer be a module but instead be “built in” to every ship as standard, much like the planetary approach suite is. So yes it frees up one module slot for everyone.
