Mind you some user ruined my day by putting Hoatzin into dallas world aquarium :c
Ending PZ1 with one more DLC and an update with a few of the PC2 tools would be perfect for me, honestly. I'd settle for the pathing tool and scaling but a barrier drawing tool would be incredible!Honestly if it was possible (and I doubt it is) I'd be happy if they just gave us the PC2 pathing tool and called it a day. Scenery brush would be nice, too, and the draw tool for habitat barriers as a bonus.
Similar to what I said above about them getting the kinks out in PC2... The benefit of having PZ2 come after is that they will (hopefully) sort out some of the clunky UI in time for a sequel. I think the issue is that they optimized it too much toward console.I don't know, the focus on console compatibility has been an issue with PC2 since before it even launched, and the new update has taken steps to alleviate some of it. While I'm sure they'll still plan the PZ2 interface around the console, I very much suspect they'll learn from this. Call me optimistic, but I think a lot of the major cross-compatibility problems will be mitigated if/when PZ2 launches.
Really their mistake was entering the console market full-throttle to begin with. I get the appeal, but the way they did it originally was better. Start on PC, port to console later.
I completely missed this! Good to have yet another piece of evidence to show people who've got doubts about a new DLC coming.Frontier has actually said twice now so a dlc next year is likely happening. First the maybe there will be in the stream a while back and also in the steam post about voting it in the game awards:
"We've had 18 DLC packs alongside 18 Free content updates, bringing our total species count up to 195 animals (so far!!)."
That was roughly about 2 weeks ago so the plan for more content is still on their minds for more planet zoo support.
Doing sequel just after a year. What possibly could go wrong?I lost many pages.
I read recently jwe3 has been semiconfirmed along with the cancellation of F1 2025
I believe "JWE3 but not called JWE3" was already confirmed last year. Just been re-confirmed in the latest financial documents.I read recently jwe3 has been semiconfirmed along with the cancellation of F1 2025

I can just imagineMaybe an Endangered animal pack?
Sold! I’d really love that selectionI can just imagine
Endangered Animal Pack
Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
Secretary Bird
Père David’s Deer
Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey
Black-Footed Ferret
Red Wolf (obligate clone)
Lowland Anoa
(Exhibit Animal) Tuatara
It might be a bit much for frontier but I think it would work wonders for the game
I honestly don't think this would be at all "too much" for Frontier. The secretary bird is arguably the most complicated and most everything else has a pretty strong starting point as far as models and animation sets go, TBH.I can just imagine

That is a problem, ok instead I would put Lake Titicaca Frog for the exhibit animalOne problem though:

To be honest I think the Tree Kangaroo, even though it could use the Koala as a starting point, is harder then the Secretary Bird, which could use the flamingo as a starting point. But while I do agree with you I think Frontier would not like to put in the effort for that at this stage of the game, but who knows.I honestly don't think this would be at all "too much" for Frontier. No I was referring to earlier this year, didn't phrase it correctly. There were articles already going back as far as last May, so we've known for quite a while now that JWE3 was going to be a thing
Maybe just a little fixing-I can just imagine

Thanks for pointing out the mistake with the tree roo, I'll fix that, as for the other picks they are pretty good, personally I would rather a Geoffrey's Spider Monkey over both Tamarin and Snub-Nosed Monkey but I was just trying to be consistent with the intital post that gave me the idea, anywho great stuff no complaints, besides you taking away my sweet Lowland Anoa, I will get my revenge for that.Maybe just a little fixing-
Matchie’s Tree Kangaroo (only endangered species)
Secretary Bird
Pere David’s Deer
Golden Lion Tamarin (SA, more iconic)
Black Footed Ferret
Giant Eland / Grevy’s Zebra ( must have African ungulates + both don’t suck)
Kagu (bird from oceania d’uh)
Scenery / Lake Titicaca Frog
Of course. Like relatives which resembled them (llamas, guanacos and alpacas), of course vicunas native in South America. The IUCN also says there are no vicunas in North America:
