So I saw in the news today that the Nashville Zoo had a newborn clouded leopard! While exciting news it really got me thinking. I wish we had some sort of “Newspaper” built in game, one that can show headlines for your zoo. Like taking part in endangered animal breeding, releasing animals to the wild, building new habitats or buildings, etc.
I know it would be a small feature, but I think it could be fun to use! Maybe you can even get a “picture taking mode” so you can take the photos yourself. Like what we had in Zoo Tycoon 2 and 3. Maybe you can even get money that way as a small bonus.
Either way, has anyone else been thinking about free updates lately? The last one wasn’t the best IMO, so I’m hoping we get something else this time through.

I remember several threads in the zt2 forums just like that (i had a couple myself). It was fun.
Zoo Tycoon (2013) had a social media feature, IIRC. Such things are functionally useless but they are entertaining for roleplaying and realism. There were also frequent updates on how species you released to the wild were doing.
Yeah I remember using that feature! Despite that games flaws the “wildlife tracker” was not one of them. I’m honestly surprised Frontier didn’t use it again in PZ, but as others have pointed out the Planet series is based around the building.
Man, I honestly think I might redownload ZT3 ultimate collection just to play it again. I do miss some of the features. Others, not so much. I’ll admit it doesn’t feel like the guests have got much smarter since then.

Your pack seems the most likely. I'd enjoy it and ABB might make decent headliner... The only one of those animals I wouldn't enjoy is GSNM but I know a ton of forum members would. haha
