I see wild coyotes all the time. They look different each time. Heck, some look small and thin, others look large and wolf-like (might've been a coywolf, but still)It is a coyote. lets not start the nit-picking already please. Real life animals vary to an extend that two individuals might look like a different species based on fluffiness of coat, ear lenght, even different patters.I am really tired of people trying to always find something wrong with it. They base the animal on some reference pictures, but real life animals vary alot. Just look at those, all coyotes, but completely different, some more foxy like, some more wolflike, some look like a dog... Please consider that.
