we need to dig through the dictionary to find enough new animals for the next dlc.
It's crazy to think how careful the creators have been with leaks, compared to when the king penguin, grey seal, giant otter and sun bear were leaked. I believe the last one we had was with North America, when the North America DLC watermark was accidentally posted on the pictures during the update announcement, one day before the pack was officially announced.
It's fun that now we can have some reason for speculation again, based on the dictionary.

Actually, I believe the latest one was much closer than that. Somebody messed up and accidentally added some Content# folders in the files, then it was updated and deleted...
Or am I misremembering?
Nice observation. There are a few small things that are in the games that could or could not be possibly a hint. Like the sloth and macaw posters in some of the staff facilities and the masai giraffe sign.
There is also "Goodfellow" (Tree Kangaroo).
This whole thing about the dictionary is extreeeeemly interesting. Going to look at just a few.
No Coati or Howler on the list though.
No Ocelot or Squirrel (Squirrel Monkey).
Nothing for Markhor. No Musk/Muskox or Walrus either.
Honey is also in the diction but could related to either the Sun Bear or the Bee scenery piece. Was thinking of Honey Badger of course.
Can't tell about Spectacled Bear or Brazilian Porcupine, since those words are already in use. Andean is not in the dictionary. Same for the Cobra. Same
Nothing for Pelican, but there is a duck but that may related to the platypus.
Most interesting that I don't see mentioned yet, Echidna is in there. Eagle is in there as well, not sure if that relates to something already though. No Toucan or Cockatoo. Macaw as mentioned, but, and I may be wrong here, isn't there some kind of scenery piece with them?

Just playing devil's advocate here (for what is now my most wanted animal for the game), but maybe that's because there's a track named Echidna Round in the soundtrack? Not sure where that'd ever be written in PlanCo though.

And to think, I was going to just skip over this dictionary completely. Hah. This is a really interesting finding and it's a pretty wild mix of words that we're seeing that have been added. There's a lot of reasons this could be in the game though, so it may be good to temper expectations... I could see them considering something for inclusion, translating the word, and cutting it.
Is this dictionary new or has it always been online? It may be a fun exercise to look at the old list and see what's been added since... Sounds like a job for the Internet Wayback Machine or whatever that thing's called! Because, yeah, we need to interpret this with caution... But some of those are so oddly specific! Haha.

First the kiwi and kororā, now yummy combo meal number two, echidna boogaloo. I'll believe it when I see it but in the meantime I will beg.
Guys, what do you think of the following pack as the next one considering it would be the final one and therefore larger? I've taken a look at the meta whishlist and try to especially close the South American gaps, I also put some more "oddball" choices like the deer (which still isn't low in the wishlist though). Not sure if this one is realistic because there are probably quite a few complicated rigs but with a bear, cat, hoofstock and a ratite I tried to also put some "more simple" animals in it (and yes I know, creating a new animal for video game is not easy even if it's a "clone").

I'd argue and say that the baboon is a clone because it's be very similar to the mandrill. The blackbuck would use gazelle animations, and the deer would use deer animations, so not entirely unrealistic to me
