And there's the bad news, that's a massive downgrade to the steam workshop which can't be beat by a cross platform workshop. Workshops like that seen in Bethesda's games or farming simulator are awful for custom content needing external addons like the zoos I build.

All these changes sound great! Definitely makes a Planet Zoo 2 seem like it’s gonna be great!
I just really hope Frontier gives us an amazing send off, maybe a big dlc or just an amazing free update. Or maybe all of the above!

My friend found that they created an official account on a Chinese video site similar to YTB. It seems that some voices from China will be heard and the language barrier will be further eliminated. I am very happy that this is happening. I hope to see this on PZ as well.

I don't think they will give up the Steam platform. I know Frontier has an advantage in business simulation games, but compared with those game giants, such as Ubisoft, their size is not too big, and companies like Ubisoft have not given up Steam after having their own game platforms. So I don't think this will happen.
They look like balloons and Kites to me. Or am i missing something?

probably not gonna buy planet zoo 2 right away and wait till some major discounts happen, all I need is rock hyrax, walrus, and more primates and I'm fine staying in this game without flying birds for 5 years as theres probably a release date in 2029 10 years after release of the first game.

Please Frontier, add those palms in Planet Zoo (after all I can see many Planet Zoo trees have been copied into PC2)Why do they get all the cool palms before us
To be honest, if they do add aviary birds? That's one particular theme that would lead me to believe there's more DLC along the way. It would feel like such an odd choice to add however many species with the necessary new features, building pieces, and enrichment items... And just dip.
But even if that were it? I'd be excited about it! A bit disappointed in the lack of mammals I was hoping for but... The new feature would be worth it, I think? Maybe?
