Idk seems like restricting the roster to much for me.
Like if you want to include a SA monkey, coati and another tropical south american animal you run into problems pretty fast

Depends on who is making the list and what their priorities are. I can easilly fit all SA favs in such a pack:

Artic: Musk ox
#SA: Patagonian Mara
Australia: Perentie
Aquatic: Great White pelican
África: Secretary bird
SEA: fishing cat
#NA: white nosed coati
Europe: Western cappercaillie
Conservation: Grey crowned crane
#Grasslands: Greater rhea
#Twilight: ocelot
#Wetlands: Mandarín duck/White face whistling duck/Roseatte spoonbill
#Tropical: black howler monkey
Arid: Hamadryas baboon
Oceanía: Tree kangaroo
Eurasia: Golden pheasant
Barnyard: Domestic rabbit

And so My top 5 SA animals make it in

And I forgot... From my point of view, Europe would not be complete without: ROE DEER, CHAMOIS and MOUFLON.

To me Europe is mostly missing the cappercaillie, champis, roe deer, mouflon, red squirrel, hedgehog and European rabbit. But even without them i got all the big ones to make for great European rep ingame and being able to build small European zoos or sections.

That’s exactly why I would prefer the Avian expansion pack rather then PZ2.

Why do they look like flying whales Wow makes me feel like a professional with my static bird props, we can safely say then this is just a rehash of the pigeons from pc1 and no good sign of bird development.

Lol I'll admit I don't have much investment in PC2, but I am very happy for those who do!!!
With that said, you gotta love the insisting upon gratitude of Frontier's marketing:

"Hey you clowns. We listened Water rides 5 years after the end of support.

Far from ideal for me, a third tiger subspecies and a rhino with no captive presence are very much at the bottom of my priorities.

For islands (as an animal pack, I don't think we need an islands scenery theme after Oceania) I'd go with:

1. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo (New Guinea)
2. Northern Luzon Giant Cloud Rat (Philippines)
3. Coquerel's Sifaka (Madagascar)
4. Lowland Anoa (Sulawesi)
5. Nene (Hawaii)
6. Kagu (New Caledonia)
7. Rhinoceros Iguana (Hispaniola)
8. Tuatara [E] (New Zealand)

An Islands pack was one of the most common ideas in the forums once, but since then we've got most of the species people expected to get from an Island pack. The only big species people were expecting that we haven't yet got is a tree kangaroo.

I mean it’s certainly cool, and getting the Bali mynah would be nice. I will say though I really do think the best way to go for an islands pack is just more birds. While I recognize the rhino and tiger have their place, I would prefer other things like the Nene or the Caribbean flamingo.

They are ambient birds, so will probably fly around everywhere. Imagine them being highly detailed... it would just kill a save file for no reason. They are basically like guests. It does not represent Frontiers ability to make flying birds in PZ.

Oh Islands Pack… my favorite idea that will probably never happen in a satisfying way because so many of the best picks are birds.

currently my knowledge is:
-petting zoo pack

• no further dlc confirmed
• planet coaster 2
• something about a pigeon?

We know there is an animal pack coming this year as was confirmed in a frontier stream, within the summer period most likely. After that? Who knows.
